Queen Helene Facial Masque, Olive Oil, 6 Ounce [Packaging May Vary]

As a young woman I used to swear by Queen Helene products. For some reason I stopped using them over the years. Recently I was looking for something to treat my painfully dry face. When I saw this it made perfect sense to me to try it especially at the price. One use has me hook on the product line again. My skin practically sucked in the moisturizers from this mask. I was in a hurry so I didn't even give it a chance to dry thoroughly. Next time I intend to relax and use it for the full time. However it has already improved my skin. I wish I could give it a higher rating. I will be buying more of Queen Helene Products in the future. To be clear I paid full price for this product and I wasn't asked for this review.P.S . If you are looking for something for acne prone skin their mint mask always did the trick for me.UPDATE:After about a month of using this I couldn't be more pleased. My face has never been so soft. I've used it twice a week for the last four weeks. Where I once had dry flaky patches of skin it is smooth and soft. I was surprised to find it also reduced the fine lines around my mouth and forehead. It helps to soften and remove blackheads as well. Some hints. This mask does not dry like a mud mask. Leave it on for as long as you feel comfortable with. I wear it while I have a long bath in the evening. First thoroughly cleanse then apply a layer to your entire face avoiding the area closest to your eyes. It has a refreshing tingling feeling, not a burn of a mud mask. Do not wash it off with anything, instead rinse it away with plenty of warm water blotting your face dry afterward. I still follow up with Olay Original moisturizer.

First off, a face mask in a tube is just so user-friendly - you can squeeze out what you need and you're not scraping about in a pot (invariably getting it under your nails) or trying to squeeze it from one of those little containers. Secondly, and most importantly, this is a great face mask. There's a subtle fragrance, which isn't off putting, and the product is a great consistency - thick enough to not dribble when applied but not so thick that you can't smooth it across your face without brute strength. It dried quickly & evenly and was easy to remove. I just used a warm wet wash cloth. All in all I loved the product itself and it gave lovely results - smooth, hydrated looking & feeling skin, with no redness or other unwanted reactions.

Be sure to apply this in thin layers!I have officially completed my Queen Helene masque collection - purchasing all their products from Mint Julep to Volcanic Ash. This one is my favorite. It is smooth, enriching and leaves my skin looking brightened and refreshed. 'Good' skin does not run in my family, as we have large pores, an uneven tone, frequent breakouts and age quickly (yes, our black does crack). This masque has so far been the only one that makes me forget those facts, even temporarily. I've used it thrice in a month and have come to these conclusions. Can't wait to see what it does in the long term.

I have very problematic acne prone combination skin which becomes dry due to the acne treatments I take. I usually have low expectations for skin care products because things rarely work for me and often cause breakouts. I only bought this because I saw it being used for dry skin in a beauty blogger's video and it was cheap.... I've used it a couple times on nights when my skin was feeling particularly dry and flaky and I have to say it left me feeling very hydrated and supple, soft. Happy with my purchase.

I had a slight chemical burn years ago from a scrub and now my face gets super dry and almost scaley. It gets worse if I try to exfoliate. This is one of the few things that I can use to really help. I lightly exfoliate. Use this then apply Aveeno Baby Exema night time balm and my face is soft and smooth enough to actually wear a foundation without looking like a flake monster. I love this stuff. I wish I could find it in stores.

For years I didn't bother with mud. It seemed preposterous that putting mud on your face would do anything except clog your pores more. Well, I was wrong. There's so much suction when this stuff is drying! It really does pull oil and dirt out of your pores. I just wash my face, then slather a layer about 1/4" thick wherever I have problems. When it's dry I wash it off and I can see cleaner pores. I keep coming back to this brand - the mint is so refreshing.

One of my biggest problems is my super oily skin so I was very worried about using this. I only need to use moisturizing masks every so often since my face produces enough oil to where I don't get patchy often. Once I rinsed this off my face didn't feel heavy or like there was any residue. It doesn't dry completely though, so I still had to be careful with things touching my face because I'm clumsy or even forget I have a mask on sometimes. But this is SUPER great for the price and will definitely restock once this runs out.

God I love this stuff! I am taking isotretinoin and for those of you that have taken it, you know the havoc it wrecks on your skin. My skin is currently BONE DRY! Its flaky, and irritated in the mornings. This stuff has been a life saver. I've been using it 2x a day (though that may be too much for people with normal oil in their skin) along with the dead sea mud mask (i use that first and follow with this one) and it makes my skin SO smooth. It has a very cooling feel to it and a fresh fragrance that i enjoy though I can see that it would be too strong for some. I will keep purchasing this mask forever!! Highly recommend. Makes makeup application that much easier! :)

Bought this after seeing many beauty bloggers rave about it. And to be honest... meh.Firstly, I don't think this is good if your skin is more on the normal/dry side. My skin is combination (normal/dry over most of my face, especially the nose, except my forehead which is prone to the odd breakout) and my face felt awful after having this on for 10 minutes, so dry and tight. I didn't notice any difference to my spots like some other people say, and nor did I notice any difference to the blackheads on my nose. I also find it quite difficult to apply - it's so thick it's almost solid, and very difficult to spread around.I still use this occasionally, but ONLY on my forehead. And even then it's mainly because I hate waste and want to use it up - I still haven't seen an improvement.If this works for you, great, but it certainly did nothing at all for me.

I recently bought the trial size, since it was very cheap (79p for a small bottle which lasts forever!) and i have had loads of uses out of it:). First off, i love the minty smell which is refreshing and uplifting - great for summer! It is of a very thick consistency, so i apply a thin layer, and build it up around my breakout(s). Fairly easy to remove, and dries very fast so it's a lovely quick beauty fix. The next day my spots were visibly reduced and my skin looked brighter! I'm going to be taking this to France with me in the summer so all of my friends can use it :D. When the trial size is back in stock I will be re-buying because it is SO cheap! Love it!! Makes your skin look amazing. Only thing is my boyfriend thinks it smells like wee! I personally think it smells like honey

Does what it claims to, although it can sometimes be a bit drying!
