Not easy to get the angle right but I have it on top of my microwave next to my fryer and it works OK. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good buy *by A***R on 28 March 2026* It works, even though it only has 2 settings, but it's enough. I would say use the lower setting for gentle cooking while the highest setting for pan-frying etc. I personally don't find it too noisy, it's quite similar to a normal cooker hood noise level. Only bad thing about this, is that even though the outer material is metal (?) but it's quite hard to clean the oil stains. As you have to place this within 10cm of the source, it will more or less get splattered with oil. I used hot soapy water to wipe it, but the stains are still quite visible, using elbow grease works better, but stains are still visible. I think it would be better if they use a more smoother texture metal casing than the current one. It does help reduce cooking smells, the carbon filter does help with the odour. But don't expect it to be zero odour. It's easy to clean the filters and the liquid compartment. Overall I'm quite pleased with this.
