This is a pretty great burning setup. Has everything you need! Tried it out today and everything works. Lots of different tips to try. Be aware that burning on different woods it will perform differently! My practice piece is butcher block and it struggles a bit to get through the dense wood. So learning and practice makes perfect.

I have a passion for wood burning and this kit has taken it to a whole new level! This is so easy to use, heats up fast and very hot! There is all sorts of nibs for angles, shading, writing and easily stored in the container that comes with it. I do wish it came with a pamphlet saying what all the nibs are best used for. But as I practiced I figured it out on my own. The pens are durable and very comfortable to hold. The price is excellent for this kit! Fits nicely on my work bench, doesn’t take up much space. It comes with practice wood, and directions to get you started.

I like the fact you can burn hot or not.. it has worked well for me, and I’ve had it over a year now. No problems yet.

I'm really digging the ability to adjust the temperature as well as switching pens with ease. The pens heat up super quick making wait time minimal. It's a nice upgrade from my old one.

Love the details was able to get with this burning tool. Results of project turned out better then I have ever done. So happy I finally bought a up grade in wood burning tools.

I'm just getting in to wod burning. This comes with a ton of tips about half of which are useless but it works.

This burner is exactly what I wanted, easy to use with simple instructions. May require some intuition, but it is pretty obvious. It shows a sponge and instructs how to use it, but no sponge was provided nor is there a place to hold one. I am making garden markers hoping that for once the markings will last more than one year. As the names are being burnt into a bamboo stake, I should be able to see the marks even if the color fades.
