Love an active and lactic acid is milder to use daily. This has vitamin C so you can’t loose. Leaves my skin looking soft and a perfect face canvas for makeup.

Great lotion but I dislike the smell. I have sensitive skin and had no issues while using this. It’s very moisturizing and great for dry skin. Good price for the size.

I am 54 and have very dry skin and it crapes at the bend of the forearm. This is what I was told by a dermatologist to use and it works. It did give a burning sensation at first but it goes away. It’s not super thick or sticky.

This lotion smells like a crushed up Vitamin C pill so lacks the typical AmLactin smell. (I like AmLactin smell for the record, I don’t mind the ammonium lactate smell at all). It contains less lactic acid % on this one and I’m not sure the Vitamin C is in a form that is stable enough to be effective for Vitamin C but it has not irritated my skin. The real deal with this lotion is I’m ok with the smell and ingredients and what it does for my skin when it absorbs, but I find that its only problem is that it is very hard to get smoothed into your skin, it tends to sit on top and not absorb very well, especially on my hands. Regular AmLactin absorbs well and if overused is a little greasy, while this version takes time and effort and doesn’t absorb well but is much lighter and has a tendency to be a little sticky once it does finally absorb. When it does absorb without stickiness, it’s a good light gentle lotion. I would buy it again as I want to keep it on hand as an option.

I rarely buy a product more than once because they rarely do what they say they will. But this lotion is an exception. My skin has never felt so soft and smooth even with lotions that cost twice as much. The KP bumps behind my knees and on my upper arms are significantly improved. I go over it with a little body oil just because it really does smell terrible; but it’s worth a little momentary stink for such an effective product. Stock up when it goes on sale for an even better deal!
