Great substrate!
I’ve really enjoyed this substrate. I mixed it with my old substrate (which was a mix of sand + small gravel substance) when I upgraded tanks and I like the look of this one a lot. It’s more of a fine sand texture and a really beautiful sparkly black. My plants and ADFs seem to love it. It’s already a bit wet in the bag (they recommend not rinsing it) so it was easy to place into my tank that already had water in it. I love that it has beneficial bacteria to help the tank cycle too. It did make my water a bit cloudy for about ~2 days but this cleared up on its own with time.

Just as advertised
Looks exactly like the photo, dark and shiny. Not too fine so it doesn't make dust. I love the look.

Great
Amazing my fish love it and definitely keeps the tank cleaner any cloudiness clears overnight a little loose textured for my plants to stay but that also might be a user issue overall great definitely do recommend.

It SPARKLES!
I purchased this sand for my planted (well, admittedly epiphytic & floating plants...) 10g tank project. This bag is juuuust enough to cover the bottom of a 10g, though I didn't attempt any major calculations before purchasing & the weight is clearly advertised, so I take fault for that but am making clear that if you have 10+ gallons & wish for a deep substrate bed, you will need to purchase multiple bags! It clouded the water for a bit, but that had nearly completely dissipated within 72ish hours. The plants seem happy (though I cannot speak for how it performs for plants that are truly planted in the substrate), & I think I will try other products from this company.

Bought twice.
This substrate is great! It does a good job helping to start your cycle in a new tank. The sand is relatively easy to clean with a siphon as long as you're careful. Make sure the sand does not go down your drains. The color looks great. I had to deep clean my tank (included trashing all my substrate) because my fish died of disease and I ended up buying this again because I liked it so much. One bag is a good amount for my 5.5 gallon.

Nice sand for shrimp
Nice black color, shrimp look good with it. Supposedly bioactive and doesn't need to be cleaned, if put down properly had no water clouding, don't know how bioactive it is as I had other things in the tank to seed it as well. Feels like its soft enough for other bottom dwellers.

Great for smaller tank sizes
Gravel is exactly the amount and size I needed for my 5 gallon portrait tank. Gravel was clean and contained beneficial bacteria for faster aquarium start-ups. Color is a rich black perfect for shrimp tanks, or any fish requiring gentle substrates.

It's BLACK!!!!
It's sand so not much I can say about that really. Except that it's BLACK! I suppose I should have thought about that???? as it says 'galaxy'. But it also says 'Natural' so I assumed it would be a regular sand colour. I know it shows a little black on the bag, but again I didn't notice. I guess it's my fault, but it's really not clear

Excellent substrate
I used this in my 2G nano tank. It was cloudy at first, but was cleared up in less than 24 hours. The black substrate has a sparkle to it and highlights my bloody mary shrimp and chili rasboras.

Calidad
Es un muy buen producto para un ciclado perfecto, y mantener parámetros adecuados. No es sustrato para plantas, no es para filtraciones. Es bacteria en modo sustrato

very nice!
i just set up this tank again after my first fish passed away. worried that this sand would cloud and murk up the water but PLEASED it did not at all. i would recommend pouring water in on a paper plate to avoid disturbing the sand. it’s beautiful !!
