Great molding for baseboards, easy to work with, easy to file as and cut as needed. We needed something similar to the existing molding in the house. This was the closest match. Very lightweight. As the material is softer than solid wood, it is easy to file. As others have noted, the color is off-white so it will need to be painted. Comes well packaged in a 8-foot long box. This met our project needs!

I bought this baseboard because we needed a 4.75” size for our project and this was one of the very few baseboards I could find at this height. My husband did all the cutting and nailing and he said it cut and nailed beautifully with his mitre saw and nail gun. I did the painting and I was very pleased with how easily the paint glided right over it. It looks phenomenal and I couldn’t be happier. The fact that it was super lightweight was nice too. We were worried that it might be flimsy since the material does bend, but it has proven to be quite durable. This baseboard is expensive compared to what you can get at a traditional home improvement store, but the quality really makes it worth it. I would buy this again (but only for small projects due to cost).

The image is of the millwork side by side with white door casings bought from Home Depot. As you can see, the millwork is not white. All of the images in the Amazon ad make it look like it's white. It's not. While it will need to be painted, the product itself is very easy to work with and is very light. Other than the misleading color....great product.

I used this on the bottom of furniture to finish a piece. It cut well and the front took paint well too. Parts of the back does not take the paint for some reason. That won’t be an issue for most people.
