Can you use the hot air styler without using the dryer?

Hi, no the heat come from the dryer being turned on. I will add thought this doesn't blow your hair about like a hairdryer. It sounds like one but it just generates Heat in which to style your hair. It is fab in my opinion and left my hair with volume and also very shiny and soft. I'm not good at using accessories but this is very easy.
