First a little back story-I have a weak ankle. After suffering a broken foot, one of the byproducts of a poorly fitted brace was a huge pressure sore on the bottom of my foot. I am not diabetic, but the sore did get infected and was hard to heal.Silver Alginate pads were key to healing my foot. Clean the wound, place a Everlit AG Silver Calcium Alginate pad on the bottom of my foot where the sore was located and change the pad every other day.I use coband to secure the alginate pad on the bottom of my foot. Athletic tape could also work to keep everything secure. My wound is not bleeding as much as when the wound first opened and the diameter of the wound is getting smaller.These pads seem are within the range of other products for wound care on Amazon. I bought the 10 pack because it presented a good value compared to other brands. Also, when I went to wound care before I was paying $50 a visit. This product saves me money. I know how to care for the wound, and will go to the hospital if I see signs of infection.

I had a brown recluse spider bite and it did not want to heal. I use these along with antibiotics. It helped very much I definitely recommend these. If you have a wound you're trying to keep from getting worse, they will protect it.
