Marula Oil Hair Serum - for Smoothing & Straightening - 2 Fl Oz

Absolutely love this hair serum. Have been using HerStyler hair serum for 10+ years. Makes your hair shiny, soft and smells fabulous

This review is based on my hair type being: Caucasian, shoulder-length hair, with years of color-treatments (high-lights and low lights) and daily washing and use of heat products. Thus, my hair dries less straight than it used to, and without as much sheen. Given that, this product is perfect. I typically use the Hersyler Hair Repair System (Argan Oil) and love it, but wanted a similar product that could be used on wet hair and blown dry with a brush. This Marula Oil is less heavy than the Argan Oil and achieves exactly what I am looking for- - straight hair with sheen. I use 5-6 pumps after towel drying, and then blow dry it 15 minutes later. That is sufficient for leaving my hair feeling incredibly soft and not weighed down or greasy, so the volume is still full and can hold a curl if I want to use a curling iron on it. The sheen is average so if you are looking for " extra-shiny", this serum is less likely to achieve that goal. The smell is also the average, "hair product scent"; it smells great but is not overpowering or strong. If you are looking for something leaving your hair with a scent noticed by others, this will likely not achieve that goal either. Will buy again.

Originally purchased in a salon for boatloads of money, I was excited to find it very reasonably priced. Don't need much, I shine, and it smells fabulous!!

I was a little hesitant to purchase this item. I looked at reviews and I decided to buy. I’m glad I did. This serum works great! Especially when your flat ironing your hair. They’re not Kidding when they said this serum leaves your hair soft, smooth, no frizz. My hair was straight all day at work. I am happy I purchased this I do not regret it! The scent is not bad. I actually like it. Not strong.

I have the most shiny, healthy and soft hair. It’s so great I also use on my elbows and knees. NOT greasy at all.

This hair serum is absolutely amazing. My hair is super soft and full looking. Living in the desert with no rain is hard on th hai, but this one by far is the best I’ve ever tried

This product is incredible!! I have waist long hair and this leaves my hair the softest of any of the dozens of hair products I've tried. Its light and non-greasy. Leaves my long hair soft, de-frizzed, smooth and with a healthy shine. Only $14.00 dollars for such a wonderful product!!! The beautiful bottle alone looks worth of that! I love the scent but I feel like it has more gloss or glycerin and less of the nourishing oils that my dry ends need I do have fine hair but it’s naturally curly and the ends get dry from heat appliance and weather.can make it puffy and frizzy so a little glycerin would keep moisture out but doesn’t penetrate to condition dry hair .

I absolutely LOVE this product. An American YouTube was talking about it, this is all I could find in Canada and im thankful! You really do only use 2 pumps for shoulder length hair. It will last a few months for me. I HIGHLY recommend it! I would love to see Biotin added if possible. I will be buying this again. Also its an adorable container.

I have super fine hair and this is the only stuff that can control static and fly aways. Love the scent too.
