More importantly, they take and hold a good point so they’re ideal for sustained writing. I have little artistic ability but I’m confident anyone using them creatively would be delighted with them. They’re an absolute steal at the current price of £12.20 for a box of 12. These will be top of my list for future purchases of pencils (of any grade). I can recommend them unreservedly for writing, sketching, drafting or any other purpose you can think of. Just buy them; you’ll have no regrets. ## Features - Premium quality pencil for writing, drawing and sketching - Suitable for paper and matt drawing film - Easy to erase and sharpen - Highly break resistant through special lead formulation and better bonded lead - Manufactured from certified wood ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001A1VAIO | | Age Range Description | All Ages | | Age range (description) | All Ages | | Best Sellers Rank | 5,667 in Stationery & Office Supplies ( See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies ) 51 in Wooden Lead Pencils | | Body Shape | Round | | Brand | STAEDTLER | | Brand Name | STAEDTLER | | Colour | Blue | | Country Of Origin | Germany | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 3,087 Reviews | | Drill Point | Fine | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04007817104774 | | Grip Type | Smooth | | Hardness | 4B | | Included Components | 12 pencils | | Ink Colour | Blue | | Ink colour | Blue | | Is the Product Left or Right Handed? | Ambidextrous | | Item Diameter | 0.28 Inches | | Item Dimensions | 17.6 x 0.7 x 0.7 centimetres | | Item Weight | 50 Grams | | Line Size | 2.5mm | | Manufacturer | Staedtler | | Material | Graphite , Wood | | Material Type | Graphite, Wood | | Model Name | Mars Lumograph Pencil | | Model Number | 100-4B VE | | Recommended Uses For Product | Drawing | | Special Features | Shatterproof, sustainable | | Style | 4B | | Theme | Drawing | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Writing Instrument Form | Graphite Pencil | | Writing Technique | pencil lead | | Writing instrument form | Graphite Pencil | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** STAEDTLER - **Colour:** Blue - **Ink colour:** Blue - **Material:** Graphite, Wood - **Model name:** Mars Lumograph Pencil - **Point type:** Fine - **Special feature:** Shatterproof, sustainable - **Unit count:** 1.0 count - **Writing instrument form:** Graphite Pencil ## Images ![Mars Lumograph 100 Drawing Pencils – 4B, set of 12 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YNdc8Ig3L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by A***P on 12 July 2026* Excellent ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply superb and excellent value to boot! *by R***R on 14 February 2025* These pencils (F grade) are as smooth as silk but leave a clearly-legible line with a slightly metallic sheen.
