This thing is awesome! Didn't know these even existed.
First of all on rate features: -Noise Level: There are no moving parts so dead silent -Easy to Install: Easy peasy. Just sticks to the case wherever you want as long as the magnetic backing can attach (eg. steel case). Needs a SATA power connector to power it, then a primary fan connector that attaches to your motherboard (most likely you will use one of your case fan connector spots on motherboard), then remaining slots for the additional fans you need. Computer controls it just fine; no issues. -Quality of Material: Looks and feels sturdy. No loose parts that I came across. All cables hooked in tight and snug (nothing wobbly). I had ordered additional case fans to fill in gaps in my computer case, however, my motherboard only had three case pin slots (needed five total). This thing works like a charm. Now all five fans are running and controlled by computer (yes it detects RPM and can control it; won't be off or full RPM's like some other cheaper devices I've looked into). I have the device magnetically attached behind my case (back panel area) so out of sight with most of my other cables. The magnet is pretty strong and will not move without purposeful intent. Highly recommend this if you have multiple fans but limited slots on your motherboard.

Useful for high airflow builds
My latest computer build remains an air cooled system; while liquid cooling is remarkably efficient, I'm still rather wary of having liquid in a computer. I have a top of the line processor that tends to run rather hot, so I have a lot of fans. I didn't feel terribly comfortable daisy chaining a bunch of fans to the few fan headers I had, so I put one header into this controller and linked all the fans directly into this fan hub. The magnets attach strongly to the chassis, and the indicator lights helped with some light diagnosis. It works, works well, and fits well. Noctua remains an excellent manufacturer for computer components, and I think the price is very reasonable.

Excellent fan hub
Easy and reliable fan hub. No discernible additional noise from the hub and the magnets are a nice feature. You can control all the fans with PWM as one group.

Noctua Quality
I've wanted one of these Noctua fan hubs since I first read about it over six months ago. Initially they were a bit 'pricey' even for Noctua but over time the prices have dropped, making them a bit more reasonable. Though there are less expensive fan hubs, I am familiar with Noctua;s quality and well-engineered products that generally last for several computer builds. I received the fan hub two days ago and installed it last night. It's a big improvement over the fan hub that was included with my Corsair computer case. I particularly like the use of magnets to secure the hub in the case (the Corsair hub had offsets like used for the motherboard, limited its position to one spot). This allows much more flexibility in hub placement within the case. Material was much more robust as is consistent with all Noctua products. The hub comes with a cable to connect the hub to a PWM fan header on the motherboard. The hub offers 8 headers for PWM fans to connect. When powered up the Noctua symbol on the hub lights up. Each socket is numbered and when a fan is plugged in, the numbered of that socket lights up. A nice feature to show that the fan is plugged in an recognized. For some people, the fact that this hub only handles fans and does not control RGB may be a deal breaker, but for those looking for a well engineered fan hub, you can't g o wrong with Noctua!

Works well and Noctua quality
Fan hubs are just one of those things that either work or they dont so its hard to rate. The reason I decided to pay a bit more for the Noctua hub is because I trust Noctua's quality and know it will last long in my SFF build where I'm not able to easily swap it out if something happens. The one thing to note for you aesthetic purists, is that the NA-FH1 has LED's on each active fan connection and on the Noctua logo. It's an ugly yellowish LED so if you have specific aesthetic requirements you may want to hide this thing in the back.

Simple and Quick
I needed a fan hub for my case and found this. As stated it works with 3 pin fans with no problem, the magnets are pretty weak, and the weight of the cables moves the whole PCB. I had to strap all the cables to have no problems with that.

Super Satisfied
It is well made. Great ship time. It really cleaned up my build.

Noctua NA-FH1, 8 Channel Fan Hub
Just your typical Noctua product Premium price, premium product. Simple, Effective, no nonsense Edit: Retrospectively, the only thing I can say negatively about this hub is the following: 1: I'd like a waterproof version (IP67, the same rating as the 24v Industrial 140mm 3000 rpm fans) 2: it needs 9 ports not 8. The reason for both being a potential application for this hub is to be paired with a MORA-3/4 with 9 Noctua Industrial fans, intended to be used outside to save energy with cooling costs 3: it needs to support Noctua's 24v fans, or a version that does

No cover so skeptical using it in a cramped itx casing

Works perfectly also with it's magnetic back panel

I found it to be a very nice fan header. It has magnets which make it easy to locate it on a steel case. The fan pins seem robust. It seems a bit expensive but I do not mind to pay the right price for a quality product. I had to return this as the plastic cracked at the L-shaped power connection after inserting it once, then moving it and inserting a second time. I am ordering another one and hopefully the cracking was due to some localized irregularity in the quality of "plastic" or whatever the power header is made from. The plastic looks like the same material that the fan blades are made from on the Chroma series. I suspect it is brittle, and while appropriate for fan blades, it is too fragile for a small psu connection. fingers crossed, as i will order another one and then perhaps a third if the second holds up...
