For the Xmas price of $57 dollars one cannot go wrong to upgrade the memory in ones desktop from 8GB to 32GB plus the memory is name brand. I recently got a new desktop the HP Victus 15L Costco model for $354 (Xmas deal). The machine only had 8GB of memory and supported 32GB max of memory. I came across the Crucial memory while on Amazon and instantly ordered it. Install took about 2 minutes with the longest part of the install being the desktop turning on which took about 2-4 minutes as to the memory upgrade before seeing the HP logo. After the install everything in Windows 11 opened with in a few seconds. On reboot the machine then rebooted instant. Thus far no crashes or blue screens of death.I am currently using the HP Victus for Java programing thus the need for more memory. I suppose 16GB of memory would work just fine for most people but since 32GB was cheaper than 16GB it made no sense to get 16GB. Also I don't game that much so the memory complaints on gaming are not an issue for me.

Needed a upgrade and worked great

Crucial always makes relatively solid, good looking kits of RAM, and this kit is no different. It's good in gaming, and is fast enough to keep up with the rest of my system. Much like any other DIMM, these are wickedly easy to install and use, and I find that the heat spreader on them is a nicely refined appearance. I care a lot about stability when using EXPO, and this kit has been extremely stable for me. Crucial delivers a solid kit once again.

I switched from a "gamers brand" to the micron memory for it's known reliability, and quality. I have had zero system stability issues since switching to this ram. The capacity is a little less for the money but reliability is far more important. These are narrow and install easier then models with big ugly coolers that step all over each other, and they run cool in my system. They don't have the flashy LEDs so don't look as "cool" in the system, but, again reliability is more important. For my systems I will be going with Micron memory.

I got a brand new Windows 11 Lenovo desktop with an i5 processor, but it only had 8 GB RAM. There was no way that anemic amount of RAM was going to work for me. So I swapped it out and installed the Crucial Pro RAM 32GB Kit. I liked the fact it had a heat sink on the chips. All I did was remove the two screws on the side panel of the unit and release the clips holding the old RAM. The motherboard had two slots to install the new RAM. I powered up the unit and it was recognized by the BIOS automatically. I have been running this for two months now. I have had not issues and love the speed of my system and the additional headroom in memory.

How do you rate memory DIMMs? It installed, was recognized and gave me more memory. It worked as advertised, but not better than other products.

Bought this in 2024 when it was significantly cheaper: I've had no problems over the years, it was easy to install, good for games and local LLMs.
