I have been specifying silane/siloxane sealers for sealing precast concrete and masonry walls for years in the industrial market, but was having difficulty getting them for home use. I found this product on Amazon, and used it to seal my patio brick. I followed directions using a cheap garden sprayer, with a paint roller to backroll the spray applied. It went on very easily, and has held up quite well. The silane/siloxane sealers prevent water from getting into the masonry surfaces, but allow water vapor pressure to escape. Apply following directions, and make certain the surface to be treated is clean and dry.

Our brick veneer is from 1953 and wasn't installed correctly, this finally stopped the leaking in the basement.

Application was easy enough with a 2 gallon hand pump sprayer. Have not had planters long enough to determine the quality of the seal on the cinder blocks but expect it will be fine. Arrived in perfect condition and promptly delivered without extra shipping needed.

Applied easily with sprayer too early to tell how well it works so I can't give a five star yet
