I have long and pin-straight hair that knots very easily. With this brush, those knots are easily untangled without the pain, time, and energy that I normally would spend trying to untangle my hair. With other brushes, I would literally be ripping chunks of my hair out try to remove the knots. Needless to say, those plastic brushes met an early trip to the garbage can because of broken handles and I would have to replace my hairbrush every 6 months. Brushing my hair used to be a 20+ minute ritual that now only takes me 5 minutes max. If you find that your hair is like mine and needs constant brushing to keep the knots away, I strongly recommend purchasing this brush. It has withstood the daily battle with my difficult hair and only a few of the top knobs have come off. It is easy to clean, study and a very worthwhile purchase. It has improved my life significantly and I will be purchasing another to keep in my purse. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Updated! ((Again)) *by W***B on Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2017* Update- August 07, 2017I was asked to contact Marbeian (Seller) and their customer service was wonderful, fast, and efficient. The original product was defective since it fell apart even with careful and gentle use; so they have sent a new brush my way. They truly seem to stand by their product and for that I am thankful; especially since that is a rarity in this day and age. Dealing with this has let me know this is a company I'd be willing to stand behind so I will be keeping their products in mind for my hair brush needs; as well as informing friends and family of their wonderful customer service.Update- July 28, 2017After about 7 months of use, it's already showing damage as pegs have broken in half and the cushion has torn some were several of the pegs keep falling out! Considering that I'm gentle when brushing my hair, I don't think there should be this much damage? I still plan on getting another one and just hope the next one lasts. I'll just have to wait and see. But for now, I'll just use the damaged one until I can afford to buy a new one. I still really love this brush since it untangles my hair without pulling or static so this is very unfortunate.Original review- Ordered on December 18, 2016Very well made with very little weight to it, the bamboo is very smooth. I'm very happy with it and will probably buy again; especially if anything happens to the one I have now. ### ⭐⭐ Broken Pins :o( :o( *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2018* I bought this brush so my husband and I could detangle our toddler's hair (she has type 3b/c hair). The hair strands themselves are fine and she has a medium to thick amount of hair on her head. First use of the brush went well! Was able to gently detangle her hair, no problems. Second use however resulted in TWO of the bamboo pins breaking off close to the base :o( :o( I don't want to continue using the brush because the jagged edges left by the broken pins will surely snag her fine hair. I love the concept of a bamboo paddle brush and that (unbroken) pins are rounded to be gentle on the scalp, but this particular brush construction did NOT work well with my baby's hair type.
