The serum oil is designed to be absorbed while the SPF designed to sit on top of skin (large molecules, etc). Time interval to next layer is dependent on amount applied (v. little) and skin condition, you should feel that it is absorbed fully and not moving around on skin surface if massaged. If applied too soon the unabsorbed serum oil will mix with the SPF moisturizer and not be absorbable. Would say wait 5 minutes or so, another task and finish routine later. **Q: What percentage retinol does this contain?
