If you want pressure tested glass storage jars then these are them. They are more expensive for a reason? So if you need negative ( jam) or positive ( pickles) pressure these are the ones you need. Also, they are brilliant because they are square, making for great storage. I use mine for spices ect. Indian or whatever. They seal air tight so whatever you put in doesn't go off. The glass jar is dishwasher safe but seal isn't. They are easy to get if you need replacement seals.
