Received mushroom block, a little odd looking, I reached out to them and they got back to me super fast. They assured me that the mycelium is alive and gave me 2 different ways to proceed. I chose the recommended way, I need to wait a few days. So for now I'll post pictures of the block and once grown I'll post my harvest. I'm very impressed with the size of the block the health of the block and the accessories with directions that were all included. Great customer service. I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer. I have to add to this review---- I am so impressed by this company!!! The mycelium is so healthy and strong. I have tried 2 other companies and they don't compare to the quality that I have received from Nublume. High quality! Highly recommended!!!

I've praised these folks before. These mushrooms really want to grow! This kit removes every unnecessary step. I sliced the box, misted lightly, and watched Blue Oysters double in size day after day. Eight days later, I was chowing down on a nice pasta with mushroom sauce. There's definitely something cool about the genetics here. Literally the fastest growing, biggest harvest, super beautiful, and three harvests. These fungi seem to thrive at typical household temperatures. Most homes already sit right in their comfort zone, which makes this kit unusually reliable. I placed it on a counter, followed the instructions, and let the mushrooms do their thing. I'm tempted to try my own tent with a whole bunch of boxes now. They are really fun. The kit includes everything you need: a solid misting bottle, a simple humidity tent, and a fully colonized block that clearly arrived ready to fruit. The mushrooms were meaty, savory, and rich, with a texture that sears beautifully. Grocery-store mushrooms don't compare. (I can never find the blue ones anyway!) The packaging makes this an easy gift for people who feel hard to shop for. They might even make a new friend. (Chris, the "help dude," will literally chat on the phone to explain things.) It's really not complicated. I was just making it a big deal because I'm a compulsive. I do note that when I got 'em, they were 5 bucks less expensive than others. Great deal.

Not even pin mushrooms. We ordered three mushroom kits from three companies. We started them at the same time. They are all in the same spot, with the same spraying time, air flow, and light. These are the only that did not sprout. One kit is on its second round, and this one has not even a tiny pin mushroom. The set-up looked the most thorough- a tent, nice glass bottle, clear instructions. Turns out none of that matters, because the simplistic, cheaper kit was far more successful.

Mushrooms were very easy to start, was able to do this with my grandkids ages 2 and 6. Second day in and both boys were over again to check on them. I couldn't be happier.

Great company with great customer service. Packaged very well with great instructions, and product looked ready to go. Purchased the blue oysters, and will be getting lions mane to try next!

I bought these to try because you were supposed to be able to spray the block instead of soaking it in water. There were contradictory statements in the directions and website. I love the smell of the material they used for the block but I was not happy the block had hardly any white to it to show the block was ready to go. I love in a desert and made a smaller cut like the suggestion in the directions. It took almost 2 weeks just to get the mycelium to spread through the block and start protruding to produce pins. I ended up making my initial cut bigger and the mushrooms started growing. The ones on the underside stopped growing and dried up while the main caps acted like they had too much moisture. I'm trying for a second flush after 1 small harvest. Nothing is happening after a week of trying.
