Dog actually lost weight over time. It will take some time, but keeping treats to a minimum, this will work. Been using Science Diet products for 50 years

Worked well as needs changed for our Big Labrador Retriever
Was an easy transition mixing at first with 128lb lab’s other (Hills) food the first mnonth an then just using this for his “kibble” course. Concurrently, he also trimmed up quite a bit now 120 with minimal other changes.
