Powerful and quiet
I used this actuator for my power trim and tilt project. Powerful and quiet little actuator. It worked better than expected. Update: I'm on my second one that the motor stopped working. Can't return or get a replacement because it's passed the return window.

2in Stroke/660lb
I bought this to build an electronic e-brake for my truck, mainly because of its 660 lb pull rating and IP65 water resistance. The IP65 rating is fairly solid for my application since it will be mounted under the vehicle. The actuator came with instructions and mounting hardware. I bench-tested it using a 12V power supply, and it operated correctly in both directions. The internal limit switches also functioned as expected. I partially disassembled the lead screw housing to inspect the internal limit switch setup. It uses normally closed (NC) microswitches soldered in place with resistors. The switches are mounted in a plastic track that slides into the aluminum housing. During disassembly, I noticed the internally threaded push rod contained aluminum shavings from the threading process. While this doesnโt appear to affect operation, it suggests some inconsistencies in manufacturing quality control. The plastic guide at the end of the housing (where the push rod rides) is secured with a single screw. The screw boss showed a crack, likely from over-tightening during assembly at the factory. I also found no sealant applied at this interface, which could allow water ingress where the guide seats into the aluminum body; I plan to add sealant here. Inside the guide, there is an O-ring intended to provide sealing. However, the fit was fairly loose and did not inspire much confidence in its effectiveness. I replaced it with a slightly thicker O-ring to achieve a tighter seal without adding noticeable friction. Overall, the actuator functions well. It pulls strongly even under load on a car battery and does not sound like it struggles. It produces some noise during operation, but nothing excessive. I did not use the supplied mounting hardware, but it appears reasonably robust. There are a few quality control concerns, but at roughly $50, it is still a solid value for the performance. One limitation for my use case is that the non-driven clevis cannot be rotated 90 degrees, which would have made mounting easier with the included brackets. It appears to be cast in place, likely for strength. (UPDATED EDIT) I contacted the seller regarding the quality issues and they responded, but I never received notification from Amazon for this response. So, I changed my review from 3 to 4 stars. They were very grateful for the feedback and stated they would forward that information to their engineering department. They also offered me a partial refund for the part which I accepted.

Good value
This actuator is slower than I would like, but also much smoother than I thought it would be. It is able to make small adjustments and the limit switches work perfectly. So far so good, I will update when my box scraper shows up and I start using it

Powerful enough to compact my trash!
I bought this to replace the failing motor for my trash compactor. The original was a 900n and this new one is 3000n. I can attest to its strength and power as it easily pressed my overflowing garbage can down at least 10โ! In my area, the trash company will charge extra when the can is full to the point the lid doesnโt close all the way. The charges range from $20-$45 every two weeks. Ouch! This is typical when the kids come home from school breaks and our garbage can cannot accommodate the extra trash. Having this compactor saves me from having to get into the can from a ladder to jump up and down. One time while doing this, the can balance went sideways and I ended up falling down which really hurt. I am very pleased with the action of this unit and the cost. It will pay for itself in a months time.
