Smooths skin quickly, easily, and well (including keratosis pilaris) without irritation. Be gentle: the loofah does the work. Nicely sized to fit adult hand. Use wet or dry. My preference is to lightly dry brush before showering. This is a repurchase: of different brands tried, Almooni Egyptian Loofahs lasted the longest, remaining usable, non-irritating, and without falling to pieces.

I’ve was getting big pimples all over the back of my upper thighs (under my booty) and as well on the sides of my thighs so badly that I ended up going to see my dermatologist. Long story short, the first thing my Dr. asked was if I ever exfoliate my body which was actually shocking to hear. I honestly thought exfoliating was just to make your skin soft .. anyway, I’m stupid. It turns out that when you have dry skin like me, when you don’t exfoliate the dead skin cells clump up and it causes a breeding ground for bacteria. Well, usually I would of turned to one of those natural carwash-esque body sponges but I vividly remember how they all fall apart in the shower and clog the drain, thus, in my continued search until I found this brand of sponges. You guys, this sponge is an awesome exfoliator. First of all, technically this isn’t even a sponge - it does not hold any water (it does but you’ll see what I mean if you buy it) so lathering actually works best if you get the sponge wet first then add soap and THEN letting the scrubbing action happen on ur wet skin with No extra water to do the work for you. This method works tremendously well for exfoliating and this statement comes from someone who would use 50 grit sandpaper if it was normal. Y’all.. this is the roughest yet gentlest sponge I’ve ever exfoliated my body with — like, if you have KP or severe dry cracking skin then you want this product because depending on the force used, you can either gently/casually clean yourself with it or completely scrape off your stratum corneum. I enjoy option 2. I hate to admit but my skin is so soft and clear from this sponge, it actually healed ALL of the skin issues that I was having and you can’t even tell I was having pimples nearly the size of boils, just a lesson I guess kids - exfoliate!!!! (With this sponge) I’m not bald but I use this in my scalp and it’s heaven and I think it’s made my hair thicker by stimulating my scalp. If you have a man in your life that’s bald he would probably love this. Before I finish this review it’s worth noting that this sponge does not hold water so it air dries every day and never gets moldy. This is also very durable and hasn’t broke apart yet and I definitely beat this thing up. The fact that you get 3 for the price is awesome, mine is freaking HUGE!

I’ve been trying to reduce the amount of plastic I use, so I started looking for a more natural alternative to synthetic bath poufs and washcloths. That’s when I came across these loofahs. At first, I thought they were extremely rough on my skin, but after doing some research, I learned that’s completely normal. Natural loofahs start out very stiff and usually need to be used several times before they begin to soften. For anyone saying these are plastic or not natural, that’s simply not true. I think some people are expecting soft sea sponges, but that’s not what these are. They are genuine natural loofahs. You do have to be gentle when you first start using them, but they’ve become my favorite way to exfoliate during the summer. I’ve been using the same one for the past few weeks, and it’s been fantastic. I was actually going to return them, and I’m so glad I didn’t. Once I understood the product, I loved it and will definitely purchase them again.

These are quality loofahs. They are soft and easy to hold after you wet them. Not sure who would complain about the size. They are big, but flexible so they are easy to use. My skin felt cleaner after the first use. Very satisfied with my purchase.

It's nice to have a natural product. I'm not sure if it's the loofah or the soap I'm using, but I often have to use a lot of soap to get it sudsy. The product itself is medium firmness. It's not super soft, it's not super stiff, it feels exfoliating and I would not recommend applying pressure at all when your scrubbing your body (you don't even need to scrub). Especially around the breasts, I recommend not using this around the breasts so it doesn't scratch the delicate skin. But for the body to properly exfoliate, and having keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) this is helpful to exfoliate. I usually feel so clean after the shower. It takes a bit to soften. Mine arrived with some volume, it wasn't flat, unlike other reviews and easy to puff up. It takes a few minutes for it to get soft and wet under the water, so there is a bit of a prep for the loofah, follow their instructions. It REALLY lasts a long time, I've had this loofah for a few months now and I'm still on the first one. Its staying clean (although it does easily collect hair due to the texture, just make sure to pull your hair out), it's not gunky at all and it's really easy to use. I don't want to go back to other plastic loofahs cause its bad for the envronment and they also feel like they're not doing anything. Be gentle using this loofah. Prep it beforehand, softening it under hot water. Allow it to dry fully. I don't keep it inside of the shower so it's less exposed to humidity and that may be why its lasting a long time as well. Overall, good product, be considerate of its firmness around the breasts. I wouldn't use this on the face.

Such a beautiful product!! Details are really nice and well made! The sponge itself is a perfect size and is soft. It has a different smell at furst, but after three uses it goes away this is probably the best loofah I have ever purchased.!! The packaging itself is just beautiful!!

I’ve been trying to switch to more natural and low-waste products, and this loofah has been such a great find! It lathers really well, feels exfoliating without being too rough, and leaves my skin feeling super smooth and refreshed. I also love that it’s natural and biodegradable compared to synthetic shower sponges. It arrived in great condition and expanded nicely after getting wet. The quality feels sturdy and it’s held up well with regular use. Definitely a simple swap that makes my shower routine feel a little more luxurious while being eco-friendly too. It’s great using a natural product. There was even one little seed in it, which was a nice reminder that this sponge is not from a factory. Arrived flat, fluffed up with wetting it, and it is a bit rough but that’s what I expect for something that exfoliates. Dries fairly quickly.

I guess those are for the bathtub (which i dont have). Way to big for me and way to scratchy, but its probably just my skin since others had different reviews. It's still a good buy if you don't mind the roughness, also got a free small lofa pad for face. Thank you for that.

Soft and fluffy. Repurchased twice already. Lasts a few months for sure. Airs and dries out easily once rung and hung afterward.

Ich benutze mein Leben lang Loufas und zwar die besten aus Ägypten. Leider konnte ich in Deutschland nicht die Qualität finden und musste Wege finden sie aus dem Ausland zu bekommen. Endlich habe ich aber dieses Produkt gefunden, über Amazon ganz unkompliziert bestellt. Die Loufas kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
