It works very well and I wouldn't use anything else
This stuff really works and with using the amount indicated. I get a test at Leslie's, add the indicated amount and in few days I'm down to 0 ppm phosphates or close enough. You can get quite a heavy precipitate - if you want to ensure it is well distributed my recommendation is pre-dilute it in a 5 gal bucket of tap water (no phosphates) and pour it around the edge of the pool or slowly into a skimmer. If your precipitate is heavy it could settle before hitting the filters so you may need to vacuum to waste. I don't have that ability so I have to run my pool robot multiple times because it's exhaust always disturbs bottom sediment to some extent. But like I said this stuff really works and it cost effective. By keeping my phosphates close to 0 all year round and adding borates I've had basically no algae problems with only minimal chlorination even through a very hot summer. Everyone will say "but if you chlorinate properly you don't need to worry about phosphates" but I disagree, high phosphates are like a catalyst for algae growth so your tolerance for errors in chlorination becomes very small. So do yourself a favor, get some of this, and get your phosphate levels under control!

AquaDoc Swimming Pool Phosphate Remover - Concentrated Formula - 64 oz
Used this in my pool after phosphate levels crept up and algae started becoming a pain to control. Added the recommended dose and saw a real drop in phosphate readings within a few days. Water clarity improved noticeably and algae growth slowed way down once phosphates were under control. The 64 oz bottle treats a good volume, and it mixed in easily without clouding the water. Great value for keeping algae prevention on track

Pool cleaner
The stuff works great in our pool. I cannot say enough about it. We take care of our pool ourselves. We donโt have a company and this is something that just saves us.

REALLY WORKS!
Wow, Iโve been fighting high phosphates, used several products, decided to try this. I put in 32 ounces, 25,000 gallon pool, that had 4000 ppm of phosphates. After 24 hours, they settled to the bottom I tested the water and I show ZERO phosphates. Actual test are attached in photo.

works great
very good product. since starting the use of it, have had zero algae growth. i sprinkle less than 2oz in around the pool promoting a degree of clouding and phosphates get vacuumed out over time i report zero growth of any algae anywhere compared to previous years. use sparingly and it does the job quite effectively

Could you get rid of the algae?
Get rid of the algae, but you have to clean the filter

Works great, solved algae problems!
I treat my pool with this every spring, and weekly throughout the season. I had perpetual algae problems before this, could barely stay ahead of it. I'd shock and keep chlorine levels high and still have algae. Since using this and getting phosphate levels down I'm able to keep my chlorine minimal and reduce shock frequency. Very easy to use and the bigger bottle is a better deal, and will last me a season. I'm in South GA so my pool season runs from March to November (for when I keep the filter running, swimming usually starts in late April when the water warms up).
