Worked perfectly
The magnetron worked perfectly for our damaged Frigidaire Gallery microwave oven. The specifications are clear and it was easy to install and test. I recommend this product.

Box was damaged but it worked fine
Worked fine but packaging is poor and box was damaged. There is no padding in the box and the box is larger than the magnetron so it gets bounced around during shipping and the magnetron cut through the box.

Item shipped is not the same as the one in the picture.
Two issues - 1. Unit worked for 10 seconds then nothing further. 2. The picture is of the OEM magnetron made in Thailand. The items shipped is made in China. I returned it.

Exact replacement for Viking built-in RDMOS201SS
My Viking built-in made a short loud buzzing sound, the no longer heated. I replaced the Magnetorn , HV diode and capacitor, The diode and capacitor tested good but I replaced them anyway, since I had the unit remove from the cabinet and taken apart... call it preventive maintenance. I also replaced the waveguide cover, since those things can get carbonized food buildup on them and detract from microwave performance. If you have a built-in microwave, it's worth replacing the magnetron if the microwave is in otherwise good condition. For some inexplicable reason, built-in microwave ovens are upwards of twice the price of a countertop unit. Add to that, ridiculously high priced trim kits... 200 bucks or more for some crappy hunk of aluminum. Unless you replace a built-in with a unit of the exact same dimensions, you'll likely have to buy a new trim kit as well Microwave ovens are gutless wonders... don't be afraid to do the work yourself. Just snap a few photos of all the wire connections and you'll be ok. If you haven't taken apart your microwave before, note that you'll probably run into one or more security torx screws holding the cover on. A set of tork security bits would come in handy
