NZXT Kraken 360 Elite (UPDATE)
The NZXT Kraken Elite, takes everything you liked about the old NZXT Z series AIO coolers and makes it better. The cooler looks great, is easy to install, is very quiet, offers a minimalist aesthetic in either black or white colours and at a reasonable price with great features in a variety of sizes for all builds. I love the large matte display on this AIO. Having the ability to have a dual infographic for the temps of my CPU and GPU at a glance is awesome. This AIO requires use of NZXT’s CAM software which is either a blessing or a curse depending on your view point to me it’s lightweight and unintrusive so I have no issues with it. Via the CAM software you can also do really cool things like apply gifs to the screen customising the AIO to truly make it feel unique to your tastes and build. The AIO only needs one cable to function this time as opposed to the older Z series AIOs from NZXT which require multiple cables. Overall this AIO is my go to choice for my personal PC builds as the Kraken series has proven to me time and time again to be reliable and capable of doing its job well. Lastly if you don’t need a larger 60Hz display please buy the non-elite version of this AIO they use the same Asetek pump so your only paying for a better screen. Same goes for if you intend to use your own fans like me. I made the mistake of ordering the RGB version of this AIO when since I was using the Lian Li Uni Fans (I have since switched to Thermaltake CT120 EX Magentic fans) I should have just saved money and bought the non-RGB version. UPDATE: Given some of the let’s say less than savory tactics NZXT has been found to be doing with things like their predatory PC leasing program it might be best to start looking elsewhere in the future and customers should know about this. Won’t change the rating because the product itself is good even if the company that makes it has decided to go down a less consumer friendly avenue.

Very Nice
Bought this to cool my 5800x3d that I recently upgraded to from a 3700x. Function great and is very aethetically pleasing to look at. Great customization, crisp and responsive display, and the software is lightweight. The software also doesn't conflict with my other rgb software (eg. Razer Synapse, OpenRGB, and G.Skill). I'd recommend this for any high end cpu that naturally runs hot such as the 5800x3d, 13900k, 7950x3d, etc. Overall, this is a great replacement for my AMD Wraith Prism cooler. Before my cpu temps got high enough where my computer would crash due to overheating and would idle at 80c. Now my cpu idles at 33c and I've never seen it reach above 70c even while stress testing with Furmark cpu burner and playing games with ray tracing enabled and set to max. The only thing I don't like is that for me the cooler shows up as an ejectable device like a USB stick. When you click Eject NZXT Kracken Elite it makes the software stop working. Although, the pump still functions when "ejected". I haven't seen anyone else have this problem so this might just be a me thing that I'm personally not going to bother to fix. Overall great cooler, lightweight software, very nice.

Gimme linux support!
This is the first AIO I have purchased and it seems to be doing its job as intended. This was put in a white Hyte y60 case as it seemed to be one of the only 280mm white AIO. I was originally going to buy the last gen version of this cooler, but figured I might as well buy this new one which just got released. Glad I did too as the larger screen is much nicer to look at. All of my opinions here are based on the out of the box behavior of the cooler, no NZXT cam configuring was done. Performance: Cools my 7900x pretty decently. According to the cooler screen, it sits around 33-34 idling and the highest I've seen it hit is 37 degrees when doing short intense computations. Installation: Really straight forward with an AMD x670e board. Way better than my previous experience installing a BeQuiet! Dark rock pro 3/4 to an intel based system. It's also great that the cooler can be oriented at different angles (30 degree steps I believe) which gives it even more flexibility in installations. (the default orientation has the tubes coming out the bottom of the screen/coldplate. Rotating the screens image requires software) Noise: Runs quiet enough. I can somewhat hear the whoosh of the fans, however it is over powered by the stock fans my case came in. As for pump noise, I'm not entirely sure I hear it. Occasionally I hear a sound from my PC, but I have yet to determine if it is coil whine from my new build, or if it is the pump occasionally whirring. Fans: I plan on upgrading the fans at a later date with lian li infinity fans, but I have honestly been pleasantly surprised by how well the rgb looks. However, I would have preferred being able to buy the cooler without the fans and fan hub included. If I wanted NZXT fans, I would get NZXT. Let me make the choice and save money by not having to buy stuff I am not going to use. Linux software support: One gripe I have is that there is no official software support in linux. But I guess I can't complain too much as I am probably 1 of 3 people that it matters to. Still, I'd like to see companies like NZXT support projects such as openrgb and coolero/liquidctl. [Rant: Even if I ran windows, god forbid I install bloatware like NZXT cam + a million other rgb software to suck up my hardware resources. I just don't get why so much money is spent on software no one likes when NZXT could just spend a day giving the open source community the usb com specs for the cooler and reap the benefits of 'free' work.] Thankfully by default the leds on the fan are white, and the temperature on the screen is also colored white. One of these days when i have hours to waste, I will try fooling around with liquidctl and see if I can get the experimental controls to work. Conclusion: It's a high end, white, 280mm AIO with a big ol' screen. And its price reflects that. It looks great and the install is easy. If you are going to blow money on a high end AIO, its going to be pretty hard to beat this one. I really only have issues on the software side.

Best AIO there is. High Quality. Peak Aesthetics
Best AIO for the money in 2025. High quality, intuitive instructions and assembly, and sharpest aesthetic around. The RGB is bright and adjustable. Airflow can be changed in an easy to use app. The size is a perfect fit for most cases, but of course they offer smaller AIOs as well. Rather thick, but I made it even thicker with sandwich style cooling. That makes this AIO quite versatile. I have had this AIO for more than a year and it has given me zero trouble. Highest recommendation

The NZXT Kraken Elite 360mm AIO is perfect for my all-white build—the LCD display is crisp, the RGB fans look amazing, and most importantly, it keeps my CPU temps low. The pump runs quietly, and installation was smooth. The NZXT CAM app makes it super easy to customize the display and fan settings. Great performance, sleek design, and user-friendly software—definitely worth it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

GREAT
Yes this is a little pricey, BUT it looks beautiful. The RGB is nice and the NZXT software is user friendly making it easy to change the lighting and add pictures or even GIF's to the LCD screen that is included on the pump. On top of the aesthetically pleasing looks, it performs great too. It keeps my CPU temps cool and running great!

The NZXT Kraken Elite 360mm RGB AIO CPU Cooler is hands down one of the best cooling solutions I’ve used. Its performance is outstanding—it keeps my high-performance CPU cool even during intense gaming or rendering sessions. The 360mm radiator offers excellent thermal dissipation, and the fans operate surprisingly quietly for their efficiency. The customizable LCD display is a game-changer. It adds a personal touch to my setup, allowing me to display system stats, images, or animations with vibrant clarity. The RGB lighting is smooth and integrates seamlessly with NZXT CAM software, making customization a breeze. Installation was straightforward, and the overall build quality is premium. If you’re looking for exceptional cooling with a touch of style, this is the AIO to go for. Worth every penny!

Working great so far. Looks awesome.
I had a very nice 360mm AIO made by Deep Cool (Castle RGB). It was great. I had no complaints. I liked the RGB effect on the pump, and it cooled quite well on a i7 10700K that was overclocked. I upgraded my system to a i7 14700K, and while I was doing it I decided to modify my open loop on my video card, and because my case is Star Trek themed, I wanted an AIO with a display on it for my CPU. Specifically I wanted one that could show a video. So I picked up the Kraken. I did not want to add another fan controller to my system since I already have one fan controller and a strimer controller from Lian Li and an aRGB hub. One more controller would have been just too much. I already had 3 Lian Li Uni fans I was using on my old cooler so I am still using them because they match the rest of my build. I am only using the pump and rad. The pump plugs into an internal USB header. This allows the software to control the pump and the display. I used an Animated GIF for the video. The cooler is working about the same as the Deep Cool did with these same fans. So far (after about a month) I like the cooler and especially the display on the pump. I can't say anything about the fans since I am not using them. I do recommend this cooler. It was not hard to install, and it works well.
