Good for stacking cakes
Used for my 3 tier wedding cake. Cut through easily enough with my little saw, cleaned well with no sharp edges, pushed into the cake nicely, matched my white icing (not that you could see them anyway) and held my cake up as required. Would definately buy again

These dowling rods are good but SO difficult to cut
These dowling rods are good but SO difficult to cut. I ended up having to score them with kitchen scissors and then snapping them at the scoring point. This did work but was a bit frustrating, not to mention it's not good for my kitchen scissors!

They do exactly what they're meant to do!
I bought these dowelling rods to support a 3 tiered wedding cake I made - they are perfect for the job and fairly simple to cut down to size.Be warned though, that you will need some strong scissors (I used gardening scissors) to cut them - so bare that in mind when putting together your Amazon order if you don't own any! :)
