Zebra Pen STEEL Tactical M-701 & F-701 Set, HB 0.7mm, Black Ink 0.8mm, 2-Pk

I recently purchased the Zebra Pen Stainless Steel Writing Set, which includes the M-301 Mechanical Pencil and F-301 Mechanical Pencil, and I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase! Upgraded to the 701 pen awhile ago. I like blue ink, and most are shipped with black. So I also buy blue ink refills for my new black pens. Decided to buy this nice set and try the pencil. I guess it's not a big surprise that I like the pencil too. I don't use a pencil all that often, but sometimes I just want to sketch something out. Certainly easier to work through an idea in pencil than redrawing in ink.This pair looks 100% authentic, just like my current pen. Both items in the set work well out of box, and I would purchase this again if I lost them.The main feature of these is the great looks and durability. They also have a nice solid and heavy hand feel.

This seems to be a very good set. My wife has the mechanical pencil and seems to be happy with it. I have both the G-750 and F-701 pens. They both have a pretty good look and feel. The F-701 has a weird crunchy feel when you click the pen to write with it, but it doesn't otherwise affect how the pen works. It feels normal when you retract the refill. It has a very nice, solid feel when you hold it. The G-750 is also a very nice pen. I wish that it was a little larger in diameter. The action is very good on it. There is a small ring just above the knurling that has GEL and MED written around it. It doesn't fit very well on the pen and you can always feel it sticking out on one side or the other. Not bad enough to send it back, but bothersome. I do like the way the gel refill writes. Very good set for the price.

These are my favorite pens! They write great and feel super smooth on paper. Perfect for everyday use and professional settings. Highly recommend if you want quality and comfort in a pen.

I got these to have a durable, all metal writing utensil.I tend to use pencils more often. The eraser wears pretty quickly and once it's about half spent you can't use the rest of it, which is pretty bad. I have a replacement pack of erasers that I bought separately. This is my main complaint, but other than that it feels good in the hand and is well balanced.The pen is also pretty good, though heavier towards the writing tip. I had difficulty getting the pen open the first time but after that its fine.I like to twirl my writing utensils between my fingers and I only drop them occasionally, though when I do I am pretty sure the whole office hears it due to the metal construction.The knurl can be a bit rough on the fingers, especially the pen.I do prefer them over my old plastic writing utensils and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I’ve used many types of pens and pencils over the last 10 years as a road construction inspector. This requires me to do almost nonstop documentation and occasionally complex calculations. Over the past 3-4 months I need to calculate quantities quickly and in the field. I found that regular pens created issues when changes were made after I completed the calculations. In order to keep the information organized I had to use a regular or mechanical pencil. Luckily I stumbled upon the pencil/pen combo. When I began writing with the pencil I immediately noticed a very pleasant difference with the feeling of writing. I actually started to enjoy writing. My writing became neater and much more consistent. However the pen it arrived with had continuous issues with ink flow. I’m my work requires me to write everything in blue ink so I replaced the black with blue. This shouldn’t have been enough to cause the number of problems I experienced with it.Just know this. I am so impressed with this mechanical pencil that I bought 4 more pencils along with eraser and graphite refills. I actually started writing in pencil more than pen as a whole even when pencil isn’t needed at all.

Bought for the purpose of drawing and sketching with a ballpoint to lose my fear of inking and making a permanent mark. Heard the Z 301 was was the best for this and indeed it is very good.Pencil is nice too for when you do need to erase.The length of the barrel is a little short for my large hands, but still comfortable. Grip feels nice.
