This scanner pen is sleek and of high quality. Loved that it also came with a pouch so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting scratch marks when I carry it around. Was also pleasantly surprised to find that it came with a 1-year warranty. It has software upgrade options available too to get more functions Now for its functionality - The scan speed is fast and recognition rates are also high. There were barely any typos that I needed to correct (the typos I noticed are from scanning italicized texts, which it still did a good job I'd have to say) All in all a fantastic product. It's convenient to use, has lots of neat features, and connecting to wifi wasn't an issue for me. Definitely makes my top 5 list of highest quality products from Amazon this year!

I tried this scanning pen while reading a book yesterday. It made taking notes really easy and I was able to extract key excerpts in a flash. There’s also an app that comes with it which allows you to download the text file saved in the pen to a computer or mobile phone. From there it’s very easy to edit or share. To start with, I struggled a little with the scanning. After a little practice however, I found that you have to scan line by line at a constant speed, not too fast or slow. You can also scan multiple lines continuously without stopping. Occasionally, the first letter at the beginning of a sentence disappears but I figured out that the problem can be remedied as long as you scan some blank space before the first word. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

I really like this scanner pen. I got bunch of them to test out and find the best one and I can say that this one tested highest overall. It doesn't require perfect scanning to get a decent read of the text and overall easy to use and allows for left handed use which is great for me as a leftie!

It will read to you with decent accuracy and can copy printed text to it's on pen Note app with ease. But getting it to connect to a computer or phone proved to be impossible; the phone app it requires doesn't work and holds out dated information; and it struggles to comprehend even the cleanest hand written text. Overall, I'd suggest just using Google Lens through your phone or computer if you are looking for OCR. Admittedly I didn't keep it long enough to test the translation feature, but that was not the reason I bought it either.

I started to learn French not too long ago. I can just use this pen to scan the sentences to translate them from English to French or French to English. This is way faster than looking up on computer or smartphone. I also found that the two-way speech translation function can be used for one person. I used it as a translator: I speak English to it, and the translated French will show up on the screen. The pen can also read the translations so that I don’t have to keep looking at the screen. On their website, it says that the pen supports 112 types of languages. I bet they’ve never thought of using it this way like I did. I figured that I would share this little trick to everyone. If you are still using the old translation pen from 10 years ago, you should really think about switching to this one. This pen can do both speech and scan! I think it's a helpful tool for language learners.

In the past, I’d use a scanner if I needed to digitize documents or books, but often that was too much hassle, especially if I only needed a paragraph here and there. A friend introduced me to this scanning pen which made it simple to quickly scan on the go. It’s very lightweight, fits easily in a pocket or briefcase, and can be used as a standalone device without needing to connect to a computer. Having said that, I highly recommend the app that’s bundled with the product. I can scan the file directly with the pen and the text will be transmitted automatically to my iPhone, there’s no need to download from the pen. It is very simple to operate. Please note that you have to make sure your phone and the scanning pen are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, otherwise the pen won’t find the phone. When my device arrived, I didn’t realize this straight away until I’d watched the instructional video. Another handy feature is being able to share your phone’s Wi-Fi hotspot with the pen. If you often find you need to scan small amounts of text, I highly recommend this product.

In general, it is a nice and very handy tool. Although you need some skinny fingers to get the settings done, it is easy to do so. The translation of the text to speech is good to very good, depending on the direction. If I use it to scan German text to translate into English it is very good, not so in the other direction. It is noticeable that the speaker is not German and with that pronunciation of some words is horrible. The one thing I really miss and that was the main reason why I bought it, is, that it doesn't create translated textfiles. You can only create text files of the language you scan. And for that function, there are better tools. Another, very annoying thing is the disconnection from the computer when you actually operate the scanner. It should have a way to choose if you want to scan direct to the computer or if you want to store it on the scanner. Finally, I can't give it more than 3 stars, because of not translating to text files, not connecting while scanning, and the sometimes unintelligible pronunciation of German words.

Ich brauche den SP hauptsächlich zum Bücher lesen und Wörter übersetzen. Ich kann auch mehrere Zeilen einlesen, wenn ich den Zusammenhang nicht verstehe. Ich habe jedoch gestaunt, dass der SP mir auch beim übersetzen von Chinesisch auf Deutsch eine grosse Hilfe war! Auch das Sprechen und Übersetzen funktioniert gut. Der SP ist schnell im Einlesen von Text. Da er eine praktische Grösse an Scanfläche hat, können recht grosse Buchstaben gescannt werden. Der SP ist sehr leicht und liegt gut in der Hand. Der Akku hält lange hin und kann mit Kabel geladen werden. Der SP hat noch andere Funktionen, wie Text auf das Smartphone und PC übertragen, welcher ich noch nicht probiert habe. Das Bücher in Fremdsprachen lesen macht so für mich richtig Freude!

Easy to get started. Simple to use.

Hi. I come with a few of the special titles that someone with learning difficulties could have to be seeking out such a pen, am now much older so of the denied generation but also work along side other ethnicities so for my study and work finding this pen with past experience in mind of half hearted programs and equipment available on the market (I just accepted the difficulty as life for how poor they are and difficult to manage) THIS. This pen is outstanding, it took me a tiny bit of head fuffle in setting up and grasping the functions but glad I persisted. It's an extention not a tool. It covers the issues so far, seemlessly.. I'm open minded will it break in a week? It feels like a very good quality, it attaches to my bluetooth headphones so it's not an annoying external voice or embarrassing, the voice and pronouncements are amazingly accurate and understandable. Not used translate overly just played about a little and seemed accurate, impressive at least. I have high expectations now for when I use the other functions. I know that this choice and setting up can be a difficult one to decide so hope this helps. And honestly Thank you to the creator I can read and study books are not just a clump of books I scan over from eye pain, I don't have to miss chunks of info. and have long winded explanation & conversation about difficulties I can just get on! no fuss no lack of confidence to get over no embarrassment 'just' get on, amazing. This stuff changes lives you know. Less worry, less mis understanding, less taument. Brilliant.

Jammer dat de gebruiksaanwijzing niet in Nl is zowel online niet als in het boekje niet. En op apparaat zelf kun je ook geen nl kiezen. Vond ik super jammer. Verder werkt die heel mooi als je door hebt hoe die werkte en de vele functies die hij heeft is ideaal! Maar nu denk ik niet dat mijn zoon zich ooit zelf er mee gaat redden vanwege het Engels hij heeft niet alleen dyslexie hij kan echt niet lezen! En dit blijft een probleem ook in zijn volwassen leven dus dan is deze niet gebruiksvriendelijk.
