how many mil thick are they?

Jan 2023 — still 1 mm thick. I have 3 mm neoprene toe warmers; they keep my feet warm! These make my feet feel colder! Maybe they work better in water, but I doubt it.

Are these sick sun-protective? do they have a upf rating? thankd

They go on your feet, I think it’s 50+ spf like other Lycra rash guards.

Will these keep sand and silt out?

Yeah they work pretty good for keeping the sand out. They are really good in my scuba fin boots to keep from rubbing and making hot spots.
