Artdone White Pearl Chrome Nail Powder,Iridescent Mermaid Pigment

Tried this powder for the first time for my gel nail at home. It was so easy yet the outcome was amazing. People kept asking me how I did it. You can enjoy the same color of nails in two different ways if you apply this! I can’t wait to try other colors

Great chrome powder! Super easy to use, and comes with a small applicator sponge. When using this powder, make sure to put your no wipe top coat on FIRST, and then buff the chrome powder in, and then do another coat of top coat!! This ensures you get the desired chrome effect. If you just put the powder onto gel directly, it will come out like a dull glitter (ask me how I know haha). Also, if doing a design with the chrome powder, use a matte top coat first (the chrome won’t stick to matte top coat) and then draw your design in gloss top coat, buff in the powder, and cover your design in top coat as well! Here’s pics of my most recent nails I did, a peachy chrome! And my friends nails that I did a pink chrome on! So fun to use:)

These give off the most perfect chrome shine. It's a bit messy but it looks great on any color.

I’ve been dying to try pearlescent powder for my nails forever! I watched a bunch of tutorials before buying this one and it was super easy to use ! All you really have to do is apply a matte topcoat to whatever color you have and after curing it you apply the powder with the little brush it comes or even your finger! I felt it applied evenly although I did notice on one of my fingers it looked a little streaky but I applied more and it was fine! Plus the powder is so shiny and pretty you don’t really notice if there’s any imperfections lol !! I applied a glossy topcoat after the powder and it looked sooo beautiful I got so many compliments!! The shine and color didn’t fade and my set lasted me a good 2 and a half weeks ! Highly recommend 💗💗

I guess I expected more of a “chrome” sort of look. Still pretty on top of gel polish, just not what I had thought. Productive is more glittery than chrome. However, it is nice because it comes with the applicator, comes in a sealed twist on & off container, and not much needs to be applied for the desired look. Overall I’m happy with it, just not exactly how I thought it would look. Note: The powder will drastically change the color of whatever polish is underneath.

The key to getting the shine is to do your gel nails completely like normal all the way through the no wipe top coat. in fact, I cure my top coat two times to make sure it’s not sticky - if it’s tacky, it will stick on like glitter and won’t shine up. After prepping the whole gel manicure, I apply the powder to my nails by dabbing it on with the pink side of the applicator and then I rub it in to get the shine. Then another top coat, cure, and it’s done! The container is quite messy (first time I opened it, it went everywhere) but now it’s fine. It took me a few times of trial and error to get it right, and I usually get a few nails that didn’t totally shine up, hence the 3 stars. You can see in the picture how the middle nail didn’t work right but the ring finger & pinky came out shiny.
