Twrl Brown Sugar Boba Pearls for Bubble Tea, 12 Single-Serve Packs

Delicious!!! Instead of microwaving the boba, or cooking on the stove, I dispensed hot water from my espresso machine and soaked them for about a minute. They were perfect. We bought the fruit popping boba as well and loved them, especially that they are due free!

I was extremely hesitant on these because of some of the reviews. The first package I tried by microwave and it was really good but it wasn't as chewy as I wanted it. It was kind of chewy but not if that makes sense? I guess the chewy part of it didn't last long, but I noticed if I let let them sit for a few minutes after they got more chewy so that was a plus side! For those who necessarily don't like the chewy, I would not suggest these. Unless you just don't let them sit then they should be gone and they won't be so chewy. But overall I am very happy and I like the flavor as well. So honestly I give this a 5 out of five and I will be buying it again. Don't hesitate if you like brown sugar boba

I have now purchased this boba twice. It has a brown sugar flavor that I struggle to replicate at home and absolutely love. I’ve never had a package taste sour or like it’s gone bad. The product has been consistent through every package I have used. It is tricky to get the timing right so that it doesn’t over cook. Once you do though it’s fantastic. I have tried both methods suggested on the box and found the microwave method worked better for me. I generally boil some water for tea and use the little bit of left over water for my boba. I separate the boba while it’s in the package, squeeze it into a cup, add just enough hot water to cover it, and microwave for 40 seconds. With my microwave that cooks the boba perfectly without it getting mushy. It’s soft enough but still has its chewy texture. After that I just dump it in my tea and add some milk. I prefer my tea and boba hot when I make it at home so I don’t cool the boba at all. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it is quite expensive for me. I find it difficult to justify spending so much on this when I can buy three 8.8 ounce bags of tapioca pearls from another company for less than a box of these cost. If you are ok with the price then I would say they are worth trying. Just play around with the cooking times and don’t forget that you can always add time but once it’s over cooked there’s no fixing it.

These were very disappointing. Hard and gummy . Alk stuck together. Do not recommend

I ordered three boxes of the 12-pack in the past two to three weeks. Before those orders, I ordered a few boxes in July and August. Those also had an expiration date of Sept. 12, 2024. I expected these more recent orders to have a later expiration date, but they did not. Everything about this product is exceptional except for the outdated expiration date. The boba packs are super convenient, easy to use, and very delicious! You can't tell that the boba drink is homemade with these boba. However, I am reluctant to continue my subscription because of the outdated expiration date.

I think they are overall a good texture and good flavor but way too pricey..
