Our Decaf Ceylon, also known as Decaf Orange Pekoe, is a high quality black tea with the caffeine removed, yet the depth of flavor remains intact. Customers tell us our Ceylon is the only Decaf that tastes like "real tea."

I drink about 7 cups of tea a day so to avoid microplastics contained in teabags, I returned to loose tea. It’s delicious, stronger the longer it steeps, and doesn’t lose its delicious aroma even if milk or sugar are added. Instead of buying 1 bag per order we now order 3. I also bought through desertcart 2 infusers that includes a scoop which also has a bag clip. A must for loose tea. All are worth the cost.

- A 3 ounce tin of loose tea, enough tea to brew approximately 30-40 cups of tea, depending on how strong you like your tea. Tea is only as good as the water it is brewed in. Use filtered water as needed. Use one teaspoon for each cup of tea desired. Pour 212F water over the tea and steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove the tea leaves. Relax and enjoy.

**Q: How is this decaffeinated?**
A: Our teas are decaffeinated using Supercritical Carbon Dioxide extraction (SFE-CO2). The tea is pressurized in a contained CO2 environment and the caffeine binds to the CO2, removing it from the tea. Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Extraction is the industry standard for Decaffeination. This method avoids the alternative of using solvents or other chemicals.
