Firstly, I have used and loved K18, what this product is a supposed partial dupe for. Unlike that, this is a rinse-out mask, but still requires freshly washed hair before application so make sure you wash first! I recently went a little overboard with lightening my hair to change colors and my curls got loose and limp as a result. I still have some K18 left but I wanted to try this out and really give it a good test run on bleach damaged hair. After 1 use, my hair was certainly softer and less frizzy but still straight and limp. 3 uses, and I could see curls trying to spring up again. 6 uses, and the curls are continuing to regain their shape while my hair overall feels softer, less frazzled, and shinier. That's faster results than K18 typically gives me, and a massively lower price point (though I did also use the pre-wash oil alongside this at times) I haven't used it any more yet but I expect improvements to continue. Some things to note: This is NOT a deep conditioner and you will need to use a regular conditioner after rinsing this out, especially if you have curly hair. You don't need to drench your hair this bit you do need to use more than you would with K18. I use about as much as I would a regular conditioner and then comb it through for even coverage. Don't expect immediately dramatic results if your hair has really been through the ringer. Again, the first couple of uses just left my hair softer and less frizzy, it wasn't until 3 or 4 that I saw my natural texture coming back slowly.

I bought this as a dupe for K18 and I was not disappointed! For reference, I have very thick, frizzy, coarse hair that is highlighted blonde and dark blonde. The front of my hair tends to have a lot of breakage. I used K18 for months and did not feel like my hair got any better. I’ve only used Minimalist Hair Mask 2 times and my hair feels stronger, silkier and less frizzy. I could tell after I rinsed it out that it worked wonders in my hair. I also use the Abby Young method and this product is definitely replacing K18 and saving me a ton of money in the process.

The way this hair mask made my hair feel is unbelievable. So silky smooth and shiny. Beyond amazed , better than I expected !

I’m so torn because my hair feels stronger after two months of using it once a week but turned my bleach blond hair brassy after 1 use. It’s a good product but do not use if you have bleach blonde hair. It’s an expensive mistake. The pictures above are before and after washing it once.

Used this for about 3 months on my coarse curly hair. Recently I've noticed my hairs been feeling crunchy and dry even when I blow it out straight. gave this a try and I can definitely feel the difference after I use it, immediately. I was on the fence about getting K58 but I couldn't justify the price. Saw Nina Pools recommendation and figured what the heck. I wouldn't say this gives long term results. However The day of using and after there's a huge difference for me, I assume if you have more regular not as coarse and curly as min you would probably feel a more significant change then I did.

I'd give this product more than 5 stars if I could! I've noticed a significant difference in my colored, frizzy hair. It conditioned well and simultaneously helped to repair hair bonds. You can see the difference after the very first wash. I left it on for 30 minutes before rinsing.

I was a bit sceptical and I also didn't realise it's more like a conditioner because you have to wash it off. But every time I use this my hair is sooooo soft and way less frizzy. I haven't had any conditionor that has the same effect. I love this and will definetly buy it again!

I bought this as an Redkin or Olaplex dupe because apparently it pretty much works the same way. LEMME SAY, I LOVED the way it left my hair. I used it right after a double wash, left it in for 5-10 mins under heat and it left my hair feeling soft and strong AF. I also have partially dyed/bleached hair, and the bleached portion tend to feel a bit rubbery. This really helped after just one wash. I WILL say that the container it is in is cheap as hell and feels flimsy. I squeezed and the top (seam where the container is cinched?) just burst and I got a facial. Ended up closing the cover (ie. The part of the bottle where the product is ACTUALLY supposed to exit from) and just squeezed through the seam. Annoying but tolerable. However, I am not one to remove a star or tank a review just because of bad packaging if the product performs well enough. A bit goes a long way. More info: 4c hair. 15 inches at nape, 22 inches from crown (blunt cut). Half of hair lightened with developer a bunch of times (~6x ?), and then bleached ON TOP of that. Other half is mostly virgin but did use 10 volume developer to deposit black colour. Porosity is high for bleached portions and very porous/tangly. Natural(ish) portions, idk porosity. Hair strands are thick. Hair density is medium.
