Incredibly soft & effective
I was honestly expecting these to be bulky and uncomfortable with that awkward thick plastic type material that other period undies have in them, but needed something for after surgery that was going to be comfortable and full coverage and didn't really care about the bulk like my other types have. I wasn't thrilled on the price for one pair of underwear either, but I needed it, so it had to be done. Let me tell you how wrong I was! If you've never had the luxury of using bamboo sheets before, it would be hard to explain the feel of these underwear. I don't know why I was expecting something other than the feel of bamboo, even though the name suggests it, but considering the price of sheets, I doubted these underwear would really be similar. WRONG. They're SO unbelievably soft and comfortable. They don't have those annoying thick bands at the top that make your love handles blow out and cut off circulation like other period undies do. These are more akin to house shorts, but with a protective layer. The layer itself isn't super bulky and annoying like other period products either, although the way the shorts are made, they do sort of lay in a weird way (almost the way a long pad would but not diaper like). As I said, I bought these for after surgery to absorb any sort of leaking, but happened to be on my period at the same time. I don't have super heavy flows, but mixed with the drainage from surgery, was significantly more than I normally would've bled. These did the trick and kept things leak free while keeping me comfortable while I healed. I wore them under looser pants and they weren't super noticeable and bulky, but I wouldn't recommend them under something tight like leggings or skinny jeans. The ends did roll occasionally, but I have thick thighs so all shorts do that on me. Your mileage may vary. If I could get all my underwear (and honestly, all my clothes) in this same kind of cloth, I would. It's sooooo breathable and comfy! In terms of size, I got a large. Amazon suggested I get an extra large, but reading the size chart, I went with large instead and hoped it would work. I'm usually a size 10/12 (US) and they fit perfectly. Read the measurements from the company and not what Amazon suggests.

Stop searching... these are the ones ❤️
Ladies, stop searching... these are the ones! They are so comfortable and don't squeeze the belly at all. Absorbency is top notch, even on my heaviest days I'm not bleeding through them. Not bulky at all compared to others I've tried. The legs roll up a little bit but it's not even that annoying. Honestly I'd be more annoyed if they squeezed my thighs. On my second cycle with them and they rinse easily, machine wash well, and I'm not noticing any odors. I'm currently wearing a backup pair from a different, very popular company while these ones dry, and they are awful compared. So awful it prompted me to come on here and buy some more of these so I never have to wear those ones again! This is all coming from a girl who goes commando at all other times. I hate wearing underwear... I find it so uncomfortable. If it helps for size reference - I'm 5'2 ~125lbs with a c-section mom belly and I fit in both the small and large... not sure what that's all about but maybe it just speaks to how stretchy and forgiving the fabric is. I just ordered the mediums this time around too.

let me keep this brief: if you're looking for absorbent period underwear, these are IT. i think it's important to have realistic expectations. depending on your flow, these work great overnight or as backup with a tampon or menstrual cup. i don't think period underwear are meant to replace every other product for everyone, and these perform exactly as i expected. i've tried a few different brands before but wanted something more affordable, and i'm so glad i gave these a try. they're incredibly comfortable, reasonably priced, and most importantly, they do the job well! i've had no issues with them at all and would definitely order them again.

Comfy
I like the feel of these are super comfy and lightweight like feels very very nice material I got a large but I probably would’ve got a medium cause they’re a little bit bigger than I expected but they’re very comfortable and I’m using them right now so I can’t really speak on the absorbency but I can report back on that later !

Your comfiest.
I really like this company’s products. Consistently awesome. Not too bunchy, always just right. Does its job very well. I’ve got like 15 pairs of the kind with the heavy waistband strap in the boy short style. I was wondering how these would compare. They are softer. The band is nicer on my tummy and slightly higher. The legs don’t stay put as well because they are slightly longer, but they’re also not a nuisance. The middle is extremely comfortable. I get a large and the other style so I try to large in this style. I am now waiting for a medium to arrive because I think that this style might be best slightly smaller so it stays snug but man are they comfortable! This is a daily wear. Thin enough that you’re not gonna be called out for wearing them daily. Awesome if you’ve had two kids. Do kegels but still know that if you sneeze, you’re OK

Not all mediums are the same
So, I ordered the briefs version of Bambody before in a size medium and they fit snugly, just as one would think they should to prevent leakage. I waited a while and ordered the boyshorts because I figured sleeping would be better with more overage with the boyshorts. Well, coverage is better, but the size is way off from the briefs version. These are so loose I have to fold them over my pants to keep them up. Hot cycle in the washer or dryer doesn't help. I'm really bummed bc I love my first set so much, I was hoping these would make me just as happy. No. But aside from size, the padding is thin and the material is super soft.

Best for light to medium flow
Love to wear them on the first and last few days of my flow. Definitely light to medium coverage idk if it would be best to wear if you have a heavy flow but spotting or a light to medium flow these are perfect! So comfy I love them!

THE SEAMS. No stretch!
These are incredibly uncomfortable, unfortunately. The fabric is a wonderful, soft, stretchy material that makes for a great, comfortable fit. HOWEVER. that comfort is completely overshadowed by the SEAMS. Why. I understand the material that is absorbant/waterproof is thick and probably not stretchy, but the placement and shape of it means you have THICK, STIFF seams going straight up the middle of each cheek in the back with no stretch whatsoever.🤣 And that feels exactly how you just imagined it. Which is sad, because I loved an earlier version of this brands' period underwear but wanted the higher rise cut. Don't do it. Unless you want to wonder all day if you somehow accidentally donned some horrible and strange kind of thong... Then by all means, go for it.

Very Good
This review for now is just that they came sealed package so know not used by another. Look very good and clean. Seemed I guessed right on the size. I believe I bought a slighter larger size than usual based on reviews for this exact product. As for working, will have to see till next period begins. Might update later if I remember. Update 9/8/24 Very comfortable. Holds more than I thought. Will be the only brand I buy from now on!

No panty line and absorbent
These are fantastic! I own the Knix brand as well and found they didn’t really deliver for the price, and the panty lines were absolutely ridiculous. I was suggested this brand and gave these a try and I am so happy I did! They do what they need to, are comfortable, haven’t had any leaks and the panty lines don’t exist. If you’re like me and will be burried in your skinny jeans, these are where it’s at.

Not for heavy bleeding.
The fit is good 'L'. I still used a pad, the day before I used the underwear version an I soak through. I would say if you spot only then maybe you can use this item with additional protection. Boxers is comfortable soft.

Runs big
Run big, but very comfortable. I would buy one size smaller.
