It’s really sturdy and really cute and perfect to lug my supplies around campus. I’ve packed this thing slam full and it’s held up, so no complaints there. I’ve kind of dropped it from a low height and my computer inside was fine. However, this backpack IS NOT WATERPROOF. Water resistant, yes, but not waterproof. After using this bag for a little over 2 months, it finally rained hard enough for me to test out it’s abilities. It wasn’t pouring, just a steady, blowing rain. (I go to school in the Appalachian Mountains). However when you walk across campus for 10-15 minutes, it doesn’t really matter how hard it’s raining because sooner or later every inch of your backpack will have gotten wet and the water has to go somewhere. So it went inside. Thankfully I did not have my laptop with me, just a notebook, which was fine, and two sheets of paper that are not fine because they were pressed against the inside and are now wet. Everything that was pressed against the inside like those two pieces of paper, some stickers, and index cards are completely damp. The middle stuff however was fine. Therefore, this thing is pretty water resistant. I’ve walked in rain many a times with no trouble, however today it rained a little bit too much for this backpack to handle and now it’s all nice and wet and will probably start to stink. So, do not buy this if you A) want a totally waterproof backpack, B) are walking long distances in the rain or C) care about your valuables, because this backpack fails in those departments. I just received it and immediately started using it. Below I have listed a couple of things I think are important to note.Size:The backpack size is exactly as described. If you are looking for a backpack with a lot of space that is not overly large this one is perfect. For people who like larger backpacks especially for traveling this may not be the best backpack. For my size (I am an adult woman who is 5'1) this backpack is plenty large and very roomy.Fabric:It seems waterproof and sturdy, however I have not tried it in the rain. In inside fabric is clothQuality:Very nicely sewn. This bag has a lot of pockets inside and three pockets on the outside (2 on the front, 1 on the back). The water bottle pocket will fit a regular size water bottle - disposable or reusable - but not one of the larger ones.Straps:The shoulder straps are very comfortable and I like the adjustable straps. This was important for me because the straps on my previous backpack did not stay in the position I adjusted them to.Weight:This is very light weight!
