Can i run one input out to a mixer and preamp & graphic eq at the same time. courting down all the cables currently used in my setup?

I used a splitter off of a single video source and spread it across the audio channels; I would assume you could do it for audio also.

Does this amplify the video signal or does it just split it like a A/B switch I need something that will boost the actual video signal
