Not fresh, but dried and moisture retained. Taste is fine, nice herbal smell and taste.

Does this product contain nitrites as preservative?

Hello friend,we didn't use preservative,didn't use contain nitrites and some other Additive; It's Pure natural Flower Buds. But every bags of package we will put a Desiccant in it to keep it dry.

Is this decaffeinated? Been looking for ones that are caffeinated.

It doesn’t have caffeine, all chrysanthemum tea don’t have caffeine. If you want, you can mix it with green tea, they go well together.

I don't think so - there's nothing on the packaging to indicate organic. Seems to be high quality otherwise, though. Recommended by my acupuncturist, and I enjoy it.
