Great sub for money
This is a great sub so far its great quality for the money im still in break in period and it sounds awesome 👌 I love the bolt on spider and double leads and big stiff terminals anyone that really knows subs knows this is great for the money so im about to let it have it! I have it tuned fo 32hz with two and half inch slot side port and its going to slam super fast shipping and packaging was excellent so t hanks again. And all the people in the comments having problems with this sub either A do not know how to properly set the system up or B they abuse them right out the gate and common sense says to not do this like one person said it only lasted 2 days it was a 8 or a 10 inch on a 25k??? Like really I cant even believed it powered up !!! Like if you dont know what your doing or how to do it probably best you take it to someone that knows what they are doing, because ppl out here saying yea buddy I got this 15 inch 3000 watt 2ohm sub, ok what kind of amp you running ? Oh I got me a cheap 5,000 watt 4ohm amazon amp???? See what i mean ppl are absolutley clueless when in reality what they have is a disaster when they should be getting a 1500 watt rms 1ohm amp because 3000 watt output =1500rms drop that 2ohm down to 1 ohm on monoblock 1500rms not 5000 watt at 4ohm it just makes no sense buying subs and amps like that you will never have a working system long so maybe this will help someone instead of just calling the sub junk when in reality they are clueless about what they are doing and just need the right set up so if you will break it in and put the right amp to the sub it will slam.

NVX FTW!
This is the second time I have owned an NVX 12. However, the first time they were the VCW124 not the VCW122. The only reason I don't have the first setup is because it was stolen. Right now this thing has been taking 1200wrms at 1 ohm (I only have single 12). It's in a 3 cubic foot 36hz tuned SPL box. I've been told you can hear me from about 500ft away. I originally had it in the recommended 1.85, sound quality was good, most frequencies sounded fair, but compared to the Massive Audio 12 at half the power this NVX replaced it seemed quieter (For reference the MA 12 was in the same box my NVX is in now). It does have some weight to it showing the motor will handle what you throw at it. NVX has always performed wonderfully. My previous setup was in a dual 12 2.25cu ft tuned for 32hz and back then I had them on a Hifonics Brutus BRX1116.D 1100wrms @ 1ohm. That setup would rattle everything including stuff not attached to my car. I once had some guy who worked at a gas station ask what I had because the awning of the gas station was rattling to high heck. Please note I also had two Audiopipe TXX-BD2-12's on the same Brutus amp and same box, prior to have the VCW124's. The NVX's outperformed the AP's by a long shot back then. My current setup moves plenty air for being a single 12 and is incredibly loud too. The toss up on the Massive Audio 12 was either this (NVX 122) or an Audiopipe Quintastack TXX-BDC-V. I went this route as the xmax is greater and my last NVX's outperformed AP then, so I figured they would again now. I'm very happy with NVX and Sonic Electronic (NVX is their house brand). Also, this setup is not Ocsilloscope tuned and I am sure there is some clipping power going to my 12. It takes the abuse all day without any issues even after hours of steady play and doesn't even get warm.....

This thing will scramble your brain and make your neighbors hate you!
Far and away the BEST budget subwoofer that I have EVER owned. This thing gets the eff down! I'm running a single 12" because I use my SUV for work and need all of my floor space and duals wasn't going to work, but this thing fit inside the space under the back inside paneling without a lot of work. I built a custom 1.5" thick fiberglass enclosure with just over 1.1 cu. ft. and it handles EVERY DROP of power from my JL Audio XD1000/1v2 at just over 1,079 watts on a meter. That's all expected of a speaker that weighs in at nearly 28 pounds, but the thing that STILL blows me away is how musical it is! This thing will sing out an 80's track with precision in the drum and synth bass-heavy tracks, but then, turn up the bass a bit and it can just pound the back of your head like a wrecking ball! There are only three things that might be of concern for some. First, it's heavy. Not like a monster sub, but very heavy. If you plan on mounting it on its side, be prepared to use a 1.5-2" mounting panel...because it can put some stress on anything less. Next, the surround feels strong, but it's so tall that there is NO grille that will ever fit this thing once it gets moving. The xmax on this is actually BETTER than the specs provided...at least, it is in my application, but the thing can easily move a half of an inch when it's working! Finally, when it arrived, it was packaged well and arrived in good condition, but there was a single screw that mounted the spider assembly that had backed itself out. I used a tiny dab of Locktite and and Allen key to lock it back down, but it's a good idea to look over the motor assembly before you go and mount this thing somewhere for the long ride.

Great Small Powerful Sub
Great little speaker. I was a little concerned with getting an 8" speaker thinking it wouldnt be that loud. It fits perfectly in the custom center console I made for my jeep wrangler YJ. Very loud, very clear, and very deep bass. Its been in my rig for a few months now. I ha e no regrets with this purchase. I get lots of compliments on how good my stereo sounds.

Nice clean look and sound.
I tested this on a 1000rms amp in my truck and it did good. But this is my surround sound subwoofer project on a 200 rms amp (t.v purposes).

Works until it doesn't
I can only give it 1 stars. It works until it doesn't. After 2 months of moderate use it just flat out died on me. I reached out to NVX with no reply. I wasn't even running RMS watts at 2ohm and it barely made it 2 whole months.

I've got 2 of these subs in a Atrend 10DQVDD Dual 10" Vented Enclosure (3.13 cuft ported to 32hz) running off of a Taramps 3000HD (3000 RMS) in my extended cab Dakota, most of the systems I've had were 12's or bigger so I was sceptical at first but once it was all wired in I was blown away. These things hit HARD! Most people don't believe that I've only got 2 tens in the truck, they play low and strong. When you look at the specs for these they are very over built, most 12's don't even have the same specs. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for solid hard hitting bass that surprises everyone.
