YETI Rambler 20 oz Travel Mug, Stainless Steel, Vacuum Insulated with Stronghold Lid

Excellent purchase. I needed a cup that I could throw into my tote and that could withstand a train commute on the 2 from the Bronx to Wall Street. This is an excellent cup- it does not leak, it keeps my coffee piping hot, and is the perfect size. You can tell it will be very durable, and it is especially easy to clean. The lid on this cup comes apart and makes it extremely easy to really get in there. I really like the push to slide mechanism for the drinking spout on the lid, it makes it very secure, without being limiting. Highly recommend this and I will be buying another for my mom who loved this cup.

This is the best coffee mug I've ever owned. It keeps my coffee warm, even on a cold day. It fits in all vehicle cupholders, and is easy to operate with one hand. This is the second YETI Rambler I have purchased (I drink too much coffee!) and I will definitely buy again.

I didn't want to like this mug, as I questioned whether the brand was really worth the cost compared to other brands. However, my mother received one from her coworker as a gift, and raved about it. I own many different thermal beverage containers, so I was in no rush to add another to my already full cabinet. However, during Prime days, I bit the bullet and ordered one because the price was reasonable. I guess I have to eat crow and concede that they really do make a high quality product. The magnetic slide lid alone is a game changer. It is easy to remove for cleaning, and just as easy to install. Literally just tilt it and catch a fingernail under the edge and pull up. It releases from the magnetic bottom section and lifts right off. The bottom piece can then slide to align with the cutout, then you rotate it 90° and it also pops right off. Once you've cleaned and dried everything, you just align the bottom piece, rotate to lock in, then gently place the top section onto the lid above the bottom slide. The magnets pull it into place and secure it. Couldn't be easier. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of piping hot beverages, so I actually don't want my coffee to stay really hot. Usually I'll put ice into my cup before adding coffee, so the temp is tolerable for me. So, sadly, I cannot offer much help evaluating the insulating ability of this vessel. I will confirm that my beverage maintains the starting temp for a significant time. As the volume is reduced, the temp drops faster, as you'd expect from any container. I also love the vibrant color (Big Wave Blue) and texture of the outer finish. The coating feels quite durable, though only time and use will confirm that impression. Overall, I'm thrilled with the mug, which I begrudgingly confirm makes is worthy of the higher cost, compared to similar products. I don't know if I can support the full retail "price", but the deal I found was certainly palatable.

YETI Rambler 20 oz. Travel Mug I would highly recommend this for both hot and cold beverages. It fits firmly in the console of both my car and my truck, and as you expect from a YETI, it keeps your drink at temp. for a very long time. If I were to point out anything odd about this mug it would be the lid. YETI seems to have departed from familiar magnetic closure to one that is significantly different - in many ways I think it is much more secure. But until you take the time to figure out how it works, it can be a bit baffling, and it literally must be dissembled to wash it, but fear not, it’s not that hard to figure out. I knew this was a quality product because, of course, it's a Yeti, and all of their products are stellar! I have 2 of their coolers and we take them to the beach every year and our drinks are always cold even after hours in the sun. I also have Yeti wine cups that keep my wine perfectly chilled when sitting by the pool. But this review is about this travel mug. I have a 45 minute commute and I wanted a travel mug that would keep my coffee hot until I get to work and this one does. Also, I accidentally knocked this mug off of a table about 3 feet high and it landed on a laminate floor. The only thing that happened was the magnetic lid cover popped off and only a minimal amount of coffee spilled out and there wasn't a dent anywhwere on the cup! I was amazed that even a Yeti didn't sustain damage after a hard fall! I would most definitely purchase this item again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a travel cup that will keep their coffee hot and if you knock it off a table it most likely will not sustain any damage. I haven't used it for anything cold but have no doubt it would work equally well for cold drinks. Another point to note, the lid is a new design and it is 100% leakproof as evidenced when I knocked it off the table and it did not budge. But because of this design the lid is also a bit hard to get off at the end of the day, like a jar lid. So I use a silicone jar lid gripper to take it off. Also, be careful after cleaning when putting the plastic piece back on the lid that the magnet sits in because if you put it on upside down it takes pliers to get it back off. It is a 2 pc seal, one is the slide magnet, the other pc is a plastic screw-in part that the magnet sits in. That's the pc I put in upside down. You can guess how I figured this out... it was not a pleasant experience thinking I had permanently ruined my new mug's lid! But even after using pliers to remove the twist off plastic part of the 2 pc seal it is undamaged and still working perfectly! That's how well made this is! I have zero complaints because, again, I wanted a leak-proof, well insulated travel mug and this one is really kind of perfect! Buy this! You won't regret it! 5 stars! *****

First of all I love this mug. It deserves 5 stars for temperature control but the exterior is a let down. I had to send the first one back for a big dent upon arrival. My new mug was in perfect condition but after less than a week of gentle use it has a gash already. For reference I'm a stay at home mom. Except for running errands and kids around all I do with the mug is carry it around the house. I have no idea how this happened except for picking it up, in and out of a cup holder on my couch! I dont know why this bothers me so much. It's just cosmetic but I feel like an expensive yeti mug with powder coated texture marketed for durability should be able to withstand getting picked up from a cupholder. I anticipate it to look very ugly a year from now. Maybe I'll wrap it in vinyl to preserve the exterior a little longer. ASIDE from this, I absolutely love the mug for what it does. Every morning I fill it with 12 full sized ice cubes and they last for about 24 hours. When I wake up the next morning there are still small ice chips floating. My water stays ice cold all day long and it's the best thing ever! Every sip is so refreshingly ice cold and my level of appreciation for this cannot be overstated. The spill proof lid also performs flawlessly. If you get one without defect, your drink will NOT spill. Wish I could give it 5 stars but the quality of the exterior is pretty disappointing. Regardless, I would buy this ten times over and will probably never not own one of these again. Pics for reference, the mystery gash and my ice after 24 hours.

One of the best travel mugs to have. Worth the money. Will stay hot or cold for hours. Love them. This is the 4th one I have purchased.

Desde que me lo compré no lo he soltado, lo utilizo constantemente para mi café de temprano siempre va conmigo en mi camioneta y no se riega, se mantiene super caliente como acabado de servir. Ya es parte de mis mañanas diarias, siempre pense que era un VASITO CARO como decimos los cubanos pero esto esta muy chévere también para las cubitas.
