I always look at reviews of products when I can but have never written one that I recall... Until now. Don't buy this case. I purchased it based on a previous version Thule made for the iPhone 5/5s that I've owned for a couple of years and loved.When my new iPhone 6 finally arrived I went straight to Amazon to find the new version from Thule and thought I found it with the 1.0 Gauntlet case. WRONG.I had the phone for three days before ever putting a case on it and never dropped it. As soon as I put the Gauntlet case on I dropped it (and I was holding it with both hands)!The case is a slick type of plastic. No grip to the back or the sides that made the case I had for the iPhone 5 so perfect.This case is protective if the phone is not being used. Otherwise it is too slick and I will be returning it.

I've purchased many many phone cases before in the past and this is by far the worst case ever.And it's ridiculously overpriced in my opinion for a quality like the one I just received from this seller.I like Thule's other products like a notebook carrying bag and I understand its price, but not this phone case.I just got this case today and I was kind of nervous about putting it on when I physically had it on my hand and looked at it.This cheap inner plastic material scratched up the sidewalls of my phone and I'm sure it will rub against the back as well.It's got the rubbery feeling material on the outer side to prevent from dropping the phone in Thule's design pattern, but I know I will drop it sooner or later.I regret that I chose this case over other ones that could well protect my phone and look good.I must got something indirect from Thule or some kind of a fake imitation product.The case came from USA, but I had to wait almost 2 weeks.I was pretty upset to receive a such case after a long wait that I had to jump on my computer to let future innocent consumers know before spending their $20 on this case.There goes my review.After reading this review, if you still want to go with a Thule case, buy from other sellers here on Amazon.You might get a genuine case and it will probably look and feel better than this crappy case.

Things I Like:It's a very "trendy" caseCool lime green colorVery lightweight.Cool PackagingThings I DONT like:It is most likely that it will it will get dirty very quickly, since it is not a "rubish /poliuretane" case. It has a kind of "fabric" assembly in the back of the caseIt does not protect the phone completely. Top and bottom of your phone will be unprotected.

I bought it for $3.74 here. And this exact value what it has to cost retail. Case is good for this money. But nothing special though. Regular plastic. THULE logo should peel off when case get hot (like it was on my 5S same case)About protection it does protect good your bac of phne. Thats it. It has opening on downside so you can easily scratch phone and also after sun it may change its color.

I dropped my phone from 3 feet high the first day I had it in this cover and it cracked the screen. Luckily, I had iPhone Apple Care. But I still had to drop another $29 for an Apple case. Ugh.
