Great value and easy to assemble
This shelf is easy to assemble, lightweight, and very practical. It holds a good amount of items and looks clean and modern in the room. Great value for the price — perfect for organizing books, toys, or decorations.

Great price, extreme value and versatility
I was sceptical given the price- but this far exceeded anything I could have expected or hoped for. I needed something fast and this worked great. It was easy to put up and modular. Don’t expect to put your book collection on it, but lighter items work just fine. I used it to display some photos, memorabilia. I could see it useful to hold sweaters and folded clothes or shoes in a closed too. Not meant to be over loaded.

Mavivegue 12 & 18 Cube Storage Organizer Review
After purchasing both the 12-cube and 18-cube sets for different rooms in my home, I’ve had a solid opportunity to test out the Mavivegue DIY Bookcase in real-world use. Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Assembly Putting these units together is fairly straightforward, though a bit time-consuming. Each piece clicks into place with relative ease, and the instructions are clear enough for a DIY beginner. That said, patience is key—the process takes time, especially with the larger 18-cube version. Build Quality Once assembled, the bookcases feel surprisingly sturdy. The metal poles add a reassuring level of support and structure, especially compared to similar cube organizers made of plastic or thinner materials. I’ve placed heavier items inside and on top of the units without any sagging or instability. While it’s not made for excessive weight, it certainly outperforms many other modular storage systems in this category. Design & Practicality The minimalist black cubicle design fits in well with most modern decor styles. Whether in a bedroom, living room, office, or closet, it adds a neat, organized look to any space. The modular nature of the cubes also offers flexibility—you can customize the layout a bit depending on your needs. Things to Note One thing to keep in mind: once it’s built, don’t expect to move it around like a solid wood shelf. If you do need to relocate it, make sure to grab it from both ends. Otherwise, there’s a risk of the connections loosening or coming apart, especially if it’s already filled with items. Overall Impression Overall, I’m pleased with the Mavivegue Bookcase. It’s an affordable and stylish storage solution that holds up better than expected. As long as you’re okay with taking your time during assembly and being cautious when moving it, it’s a solid addition to any room. Rating: 4.5 out of 5

Shelves that are a Great Buy for the Buck!
These shelves are sturdy, and look nice. They are very easy to put together, and take very little time. The hardest part was deciding how I was going to arrange them.

Love these! 🤩
Lol 🙄 People are sto supid. I've received several of these and personally haven't had any pieces missing. It wouldn't surprise me if that happens occasionally though. But it doesn't belong here in the reviews, unless it's an aside. It belongs in a message to the seller to see if they will send you the missing parts or a return to Amazon for either replacement or refund. I wouldn't be surprised if people are just trying to assemble it in a configuration it wasn't meant to be assembled and thus don't have all the pieces that they *want*. More likely I'd expect QC issues with the stitching in the fabric or the tubes being bent, smashed, or dented, but haven't experienced any of that either. Sometimes there's an issue with the plastic not being molded perfectly, but so far nothing that has prevented me from being able to complete assembly. (I got "stabbed" by the bottom once or twice though.) Still I do love these — moreso when they're marked down in price. When they are discounted, I can get a lot of storage for what I consider a fair price. I only get the ones like this, where the rods go into solid pieces. I've never gotten the "tinker toy" ones, that look like they're "hub and spoke", because I've seen too many people complain about issues with them that I don't have with this kind. They don't make good bookshelves because books are heavy. They're not really built for display, because the "shelf" is not perfectly flat — it's a piece of fabric stretched over 4 hollow metal tubes. You *could* use a flat piece of light wood or rigid cardboard over that to make it perfectly flat if you needed to. This set came with a lightweight wooden mallet which was much safer to use than putting all my weight on them to push the rods into the plastic brackets. More than once I was afraid I bent the rods doing that. With the mallet, it would actually be hard to accidentally bend the metal but it isn't hard to get the pieces to fit together with it. I don't even remember what the assembly instructions say to do because it's been so long since I've looked at them and I've probably assembled a half dozen of them without looking at the instructions now lol. I have found it easier for me to assemble the horizontal "bottoms" then place all the vertical rods in the brackets then place a row of bottoms on top of that. Then tap on those until all the vertical rods are fit right. Then repeat until finishing the bottoms that are the top lol. Again the mallet comes in handy because it's almost a guarantee that I wouldn't be able to direct the force perfectly to not bend up several rods trying to assemble it that way with those long pieces. Just make sure that the bracket you're working on is complete, with all the pieces snug, before you start the next one, because it's a pain when you find out you have loose-fitting rods in a bracket after you've done a couple more. I just pull them all apart and redo them; it's usually easier to redo than try to fix. Once you have them snug, you can usually use your body weight to check, but just be careful in case you're wrong lol. THOSE TUBES WILL BEND but you can prevent damaging them as long as you're careful. I have noticed, depending on the brand/manufacturer, the sizes can vary slightly. The size is always consistent across a brand. But in case it matters to you — because you're using fabric boxes, plastic bins, or something else in the cubbies for storage — you may want to pay attention to the L×W×H of the individual cubes. Usually the dimensions for the finished organizer are easier to find, which is useful to determine if it will fit where you want to put it.

Split one order into 2, LOVE it.
I haven’t decided how I want to split my order into 2 yet but I LOVE it! I tried a different one on Temu and returned it immediately. The assemble is very very straight forward and easy, just tedious but its worth it because it makes it sturdy!! This isn’t going anywhere. I’m also happy I’ll be able to take it down when I’m ready to move. Ps- make sure you use the hammer

DIY Book case
When I put the shelf together it was leaning forwards. Some of the rod that go across to connect on both ends aren’t the correct measurements they are a bit short, and that causes a lot of the shelves to fall apart. Decent prices but it isn’t very stable on wrong move and it’s falling down l.

Nice looking, easy to put together. Would not recommend going 4 shelf high, to much instability. When I did the 3-2-1 stack, turned out very nice. Happy they gave you info on that. Great value!

Easy and relaxing to assemble, customizable and visually appealing. For sure worth the price point, and can hold weight very very well. Some of the reviews say they are unable to stack books on the shelf, however I am able to store around 5-10 pounds of books on 1 shelf. No wobble, and it comes with a little hook for your clothes :)

Waffled between a 3-4 ⭐️ Chose a four because it exceeded my expectations for use intended. This is a “sturdy”, well designed unit (imho) is not intended for “heavy use”. Though I might purchase a few more to store books. Mostly paperbacks. Separated my gym/pool wear from everyday. Amazing. Super for nursery use, home school room, craft supply storage. Fits my “barely there” aesthetic criteria. Sweet price. Took 1.25h to put it together. For the person who follows the directions under an hour. Considering the materials (that cloth paper stuff, and aluminum poles) she holds herself nicely. Nice square finish. Storage boxes I am using are of light material.

The modular feature is great in theory but the whole shelf is extremely flimsy. It took quite a bit of time to assemble the shelf. When I put a thicker sweater on one of the cubbies that is slightly pushing the sides of the cubby. The rods popped out from the black plastic joints and the whole shelf falls apart. Also false advertising that the shelf can hold 30 lbs. it doesn’t even hold more than 15 lbs. The rods are made with cheap materials and it bends without much effort. I don’t recommend this shelf
