Replaced the sad casters on a table we inherited with these. These are heavy and a perfect replacement. Easy to install as I was replacing existing casters with the same insert so I cannot comment on that part of the product.

I used these casters to replace old ones that were coming apart on an antique drop-leaf table. I needed 5, so I had to order 8, since you can't purchase them individually. The casters fit the existing inserts, so installation was very easy. Even if I had needed to install new inserts, it wouldn't' have been difficult. These casters look good and really complement the table. They roll easily, and they swivel easily when necessary. I can't address durability at this point, but I installed this style of casters on an old oak desk chair 3 years ago, and they still look and perform great.

These came with clear instructions and work perfectly. They added some height to my coffee table and made it easy for me to clean under with the vacuum. They seem solid and sturdy and so far I’m very happy with my purchase.

The like the casters which work great. I gave only 4 stars instead of 5 due to a lack of instructions with the set. I initially drilled a hole for the socket. I then realized that the shaft requires a longer, skinner hole than the socket. If I was aware of this fact, I would have first drilled a skinnier hole for the caster shaft and then drilled out a slightly wider, shorter hole for the socket.

I have ordered several sets of these and love all of them. Easy to apply to the furniture I refinish. Sturdy.

Ordered eight casters. 4 for an oak desk chair and 4 for an oak desk chair with arms. The rollers do not roll well with the desk chair with arms possibly because of the heaviness of the chair? Casters seem to roll a little better with the oak chair w/o arms. I also noticed a line in the middle of the casters which lead me to believe there's two parts seared together with heat. Just not sure how long these will last. If you have a lighter furniture item, they'll probably be okay.
