Purchased this product so I could keep a bigger library of games. This comes as I hate the fact I need to keep downloading the games and deleting ones I play intermittently. It's very easy to install but if you are new to gaming or are a parent doing it for a child/teen dont worry about it there are installation instructions on YouTube. Formating it to the playstation does take up a small amount of memory but this is the same with anything you may put it in. Samsung always seem to produce excellent products and this is no different. It's good value for money and functions slightly better than the internal memory. So worth it if you have a gamer in the house.

Very fast and reliable, been using for couple of months now without issues apart from it wouldn't fit in an external enclosure due to heatsink, which isn't really removable as it has strange growing security screws.

The drive works well, but the Magician was not helpful in my case. I wanted to migrate Windows 11 from the Toshiba HDD to the 990 Pro. The Magician could not detect the old HDD. I had to purchase AOMEI Backupper to clone the drive.

What else is there to say? At the price I bought it, it was downright impossible to find a better-valued SSD at this level of quality. Installation is easy as expected, and should fit every motherboard with an NVMe slot of course. I'd highly recommend installing Samsung Magician to get the most out of it - you can even customise the RGB which is a lovely touch!

Perfect for PS5 and PC, wether for PS5 or PC, connect it to a PC's motherboard and download Samsung Magician to update the firmware, it works via a usb connector but Samsung Magician won't recognise it as genuine. I was so happy to have gotten this on offer at £139 for my PS5 Pro that I got another one for my PC to replace and older slower drive. I got the second one from another store after seeing they sold out everywhere and prices were being raised, managed to get what seemed to be one of the last available online at the same offer price.

Installation was easy in my PS5, make sure you get this one with the built on Heatsink. Games and Battlefield 6 rounds load super fast so I get the vehicle I want before others spawn in much of the time so definitely worth the little extra I paid for this premium product that gives premium performance. And though you can get more than this, 1 TB is well more enough for me since I'll be playing mostly Battlefield 6 and just a few others in the future like Indiana Jones and Wolverine.
