The trick is to make sure you sand the blemishes and swirls down very well. My headlights weren’t bad, so I only used 600, 1k, 1.5k, and finished with 2k(not provided). Then I did the electrolyte conversion, and wet sanded again with 2k grit and finished with another electrolyte solution. The first pass the result was not ideal, but hitting it again seemed to help blend out those superficial sandpaper scratches that really determine how good of a result you get. To be honest, you could do this as often as necessary to maintain that very clear result and avoid the deep deep sanding. I would use the super course sandpaper unless it seemed absolutely necessary. At that point you can probably replace the headlights for cheap as well….mine aren’t that old and still cost a fair amt.

My old kit that was gifted to me died, so I gave this one a chance. I am not sure if it is because of the bad liquid that comes in the kit or because of the way the canister heats the liquid, but the vapors do not come out evenly and makes the use of it very frustrating. The vapors come out like pops.I would not recommend this even for a home use.

Works really well but you gotta develop a technique or else you will get splotchy results.
