Arrived quickly, was easy to assemble and has been doing its job well, so far. The material/build quality seems good and the overall construction seems sturdy enough. (There is a little bit of wobble, with everything mounted, but that's to be expected, given the height and weight of the complete structure and the single mounting point. In general, though, I'm impressed with how stable it's been.) A couple of tips from my experience, in case they might be helpful to anyone. I put some packaging foam under the base and on the clamp to avoid scratching the tabletop (the base already comes with a pad of foam, but it's very thin). I'm also only using two of the three provided poles, cause they are enough to reach my desired height (took some experimentation to figure it out). On top of that, I removed one segment from the arm that my monitor rests on, because I prefer the way I can arrange my setup that way (just so you know that that's possible. I wasn't sure, initially). Overall I'm very satisfied!

Very sturdy once fitted to my desk. Marking it down 1 star due to the laptop tray being slightly bent. I did fix it using a shim but wasn't expecting to have to do that.

This product has been exactly what I needed. I have a bit of a unique use case and this gets the job done for me. I have a portable standing desk from container store) that uses hydraulics to go from a sitting desk height to a standing desk height. I'm trying to transition to mostly standing while I work. The problem was that when using a laptop in the standing position I was still having to look down all day at my screen which was not comfortable for my neck. I wasn't convinced that the standard height VIVO mount would be tall enough so I ordered the VIVO Laptop & LCD Monitor Stand up Desk Mount Extra Tall Adjustable Stand fits 1 Screen up to 27" (STAND-V012C). To be honest the pole is a bit too long if you're using it the way I am, but it's designed to allow you to stand when it's mounted to a sitting height desk which it would be perfect for. That being said you can adjust the height of your monitor & laptop to whatever height you want to get the perfect viewing angle. I suppose you could always just cut the top of the pole off to the desired height as well if you're using it in the same way that I am. I'm currently using it with a laptop as my only screen and I've mounted that at eye level. I'm using a wireless keyboard and mouse on the desktop surface so that the ergonomics are ideal. I haven't installed the second arm for the monitor yet, because I haven't decided which monitor I want. My setup requires something really lightweight, and for now the setup I'm using with the laptop only is working great. Also keep in mind that all of the parts for this thing a fairly modular. I mounted my laptop plate to the arm that is designated for the monitor, because I didn't need the extra length of the laptop arm for my setup. You can also shorten (remove a link) from the laptop arm if you desire so that you have two arms that are the same length. So you have some flexibility with your installation. You can customize it quite a bit to fit your needs. One thing I forgot to mention is that even in my setup which is a bit unique in the sense that I'm mounting it to a portable and lightweight structure this thing is still extremely solid. It's securely attached and doesn't give a bit. All in all this is a great product that allows some flexibility to meet whatever your specific needs are and I highly recommend it. Before this, i found my desk felt incredibly crowded. After this though, i found cable management as well as space on the desk increased well over 50%. Building it was pretty simple, my overhead space didnt allow for all 3 attachments so i just used the 2 which worked perfectly. This can be used for both standing or sitting. I primarily sit and its slightly higher then my eye length BUT completely adjustible if i wanted to. Im just too lazy to do it as you need the allen keys out constantly for adjustment. This is more of a lazyness thing on my part then an issue but also noticed my neck felt better with it slightly higher Sturdyness is amazing, i didnt expect it to clamp to my desk so well but it did 10 of 10 would recommend, especially if gaming off a laptop. The laptop stand is some sort of steel which acts as a heat sync but you can grab one of those 20 dollar laptop stand fans, take it apart and glue (I used contact cement) to the bottom of the stand for optimal cooling. Definitely not part of the design, but an adjustment which greatly improved laptop heat management

Para mí, lo más importante es que la base se fija al poste con 3 tornillos, por lo que es bastante firme la sujeción, pero, además, me permitió instalarlo en un estante por encima de mi lugar de trabajo, así que el poste baja desde ahí y siendo un poste largo, permite tener todo a un nivel. La pantalla que uso es de 24 pulgadas y el soporte no tiene problemas con ella. Mi laptop es pesada y voluminosa, pero el soporte para el equipo también la soporta sin problema. Hago mención del volumen, porque el tope inferior del soporte para la laptop, es considerablemente alto. No es problema para mi, pero para un propietario de alguna ultra ligera lo encontrará estorboso, así que tengan esto en consideración. Por lo demás, la sujeción de la base es firme, el sistema es robusto, el poste es pesado, metálico y, la sujeción de los brazos también es muy segura y ajustable, los codos de los brazos al principio son difíciles de doblar, pero con el tiempo aflojan (o para quienes sólo necesitan estos brazos en una única posición, será una ventaja esta firmeza inicial). En suma, quien le pueda encontrar una queja a este sistema es porque tenía la misión de encontrar alguna. Es un producto excelente. Los organizadores de cables son muy útiles
