It is always nice to review vitamins and supplements manufactured in countries with governmental controls on quality and manufacturing. This supplement has Vitamin D, Folate, and Magnesium which have been well studied for effectiveness, risks and benefits. With this and any supplement taken I always notify my physician to make sure it is safe to take with my other meds, and make sure it will not be a risk for illness or conditions I have. I will likely have no problems with supplement and will be taking it as I know I need to be on Vit D for sure. Some of the other ingredients are not well studied as far as benefits, but some risks have been identified: Arjuna extract, Motherwort, Hibiscus have no useful clinical studies done to support any clinical benefit for physical or mental ailments and could have side effects: Arjuna Terminalia arjuna is possibly safe when used for up to 3 months. But it shouldn't be used without medical supervision. It can have significant effects on the heart. There isn't enough reliable information to know if Terminalia arjuna is safe to use when pregnant or breast-feeding. It can also slow blood clotting Motherwort Taking motherwort by mouth during pregnancy is likely unsafe. Motherwort can stimulate the uterus and might cause a miscarriage.Breast-feeding: There isn't enough reliable information to know if motherwort is safe to use when breast-feeding. Hibiscus Possibly unsafe in breast feeding and pregnancy. May alter blood sugar levels in surgery I feel comfortable with these ingredients as does my doctor. I'm hopeful they will have benefits for my heart.

Great supplement with clean ingredients. As with all supplements, you need time to fully evaluate results but in the few weeks I've been taking these I feel noticeable shift in energy and mood. More importantly, I have not experienced any negative side effects or issues when taking these. I like them! Great!

Did not work for me

This Simple Promise Prociva - Arjuna Bark Extract Heart Health Supplement with Folic Acid, Vitamin D & Magnesium is a good overall supplement. The main ingredients, Folic Acid, Vitamin D & Magnesium, are supplements I take regularly, so it's nice to have them in one pill. The other ingredients are a bit rarer. The Motherwort, the Hibiscus, and Anjuna extract are more herbal in nature, but I think all of them are good and beneficial. So I'm excited to have them all in one pill/capsule. I would say note that the recommended serving is two per day, and they are more on the larger size for capsules, but soft.
