The main issue, however, is that getting the side walls of the product to properly snap together is a challenge. I couldn't seem to get things properly aligned and, when the directions online said to use a little force, the only thing I accomplished was buckling and snapping some of the side connections (note: I have minimal upper arm strength, and can say honestly that I was not exerting much actual force so this was surprising to me.) Because the product is now slightly broken, I'm going to need to find my own way to fit it together and mend any unintended gaps so that it can be (hopefully) functional. This is likely going to impact it's long-term stability and effectiveness, so I can't rate how the product actually works when assembled successfully. There seems to be a lack of info about the transition?** A: I made 2 batches so far. The 1st I filled 3/4 full and let it sit. Over time the pile lessened to about 1/2 as it composted. I filled the 2nd chamber full and am waiting for it to do its work...after 2 weeks it’s still pretty full, although it has decreased, and continues to compost. **Q: where is it made?** A: made be Keter (in Israel), great product! **Q: Do the gloves contain latex in the palm grip surface?** A: Label says "nitrile coated, polyester based." I see no reference to latex and no latex is visible. It was easy to assemble, and works fine. You need to make sure you actually turn it regularly though. It attracts flies on the inside, not sure what I can do about that though.
