Great solid box, Assembly required.
This box is great and exceeds all of my expectations. I was going to build one myself with plywood, but with the price of plywood I was able to buy this produce with pre-cut, pre-drilled and countersunk holes for just a bit more money and save hours of work. I strongly recommend using a drill/screw-gun to install the 24 screws, and don’t even try to use the tiny included screwdriver. It could be done with a solid hand screwdriver, but putting 24 screws into solid plywood will be tiring. Instructions were included, but I found it to be pretty easy to figure out. I did need a helping hand to hold the pieces in place until I got a few of the screws in place.

Nice wood box
This went together quick. I didn't look at the time but I would say 15 minutes at the most. I would not bother with the tool included in the kit. I used a cordless drill and it went smooth and very fast. If you have a torque setting on your drill it makes it easier if you set it. You won't have to worry about driving the screws too low or stripping the hole. The screws provided are fine. No problem.All the pieces fit together well. It is very sturdy. Looks like I have two extra screws left. I looked twice and I didn't miss any holes. All the holes are pre-drilled.I might get another box.

Great for box squats!
I use this for touch and go box squats. It's very sturdy, handles (oval holes) make it easy to move around, and assembly took about 5min using a cordless drill.

A Drill was Necessary to Assemble this Product
I bought this box when shopping for relatively budget 20x24x30 options. I read some negative reviews regarding manufacturing defects but decided to roll the dice.The experience got off to a bad start when a smaller size was delivered. Upon receipt, I decided I could make do with this variant. I tried contacting the manufacturer and so I sought a partial refund for the ~$30 difference. Their support line was hard to find and when I eventually got through, they informed me that Amazon was responsible. I had a hard time getting a live representative of Amazon but once I did they cautiously rewarded me the partial refund.Now I felt comfortable opening and assembling since I knew I wouldn't have to initiate a return. The 16x20x24" is composed of 3 outer pieces as well as 3 interlocking supports that go inside. Many of the pieces had superficial scratch damage or unsanded internally-facing edges but this doesn't really bother me for a piece of workout equipment.What did bother me was the state of the pre-drilled holes on the internal supports. I won't go into extreme detail; but, none of the holes on these pieces were usable: I had to drill three pilots in total. This really didn't bother me too much but I have done some entry-level woodworking before so I knew how to dimension the holes and align the two pieces of wood.Aside from this support snafu, the exterior pilots were well-positioned and of appropriate depth for the provided screws. There were a couple points where tightening to what I could consider reasonable resulted in uncomfortable creaking but I never observed any wood splitting.Once assembled, I stepped onto the box and felt very comfortable with it bearing my ~185lb self. I would be a little cautious using this box for explosive movements after seeing how insecure the support seems to be -- fortunately, I always planned to use this box for relatively low-impact exercises such as handstands and shoulder stands. I may update this review down-the-line to note its long-term durability and usability.EDIT: 3 months later, I am satisfied with the box. I have used a drill to tighten a screw or two where I have observed some gaps forming between the sides; but I don't hold this against the box. This has been a great and reliable piece of equipment for a fair price.

A+++ quality - exceeds expectations
The quality of this is ABOVE expectations. I got the smallest one (12x14x16), with natural finish. It has a really nice quality natural varnish on it - I kind of thought the natural one would just be plain and un-varnished. The varnish was an unexpected surprise. It is really a nice finish, and all of the edges and handle holes are really nicely sanded and finished; no sharp or pokey edges anywhere.From the reviews I see that others have had different experience, but for me - all of the pieces fit really nicely together. No gaps anywhere. All of the screws went right into their holes, no mis-alignments or anything. There were 2 extra screws included (I guess in case you lose or strip one?).I had a screwdriver with the correct end on it, so I didn't use the included allen wrench. The screws were nicely lined up, so you definitely could do this with just the allen wrench, but it would take you a while - as the screws are going into wood, they do take some muscle to get them in tight. I did it with a screwdriver by hand, but this would go MUCH faster if you had a drill with the appropriate bit attachment. The screws are recessed nicely to create a nice surface for stepping. nice and smooth.Pro tip: before you put all the screws in, make sure that the panels with the handles are going the same direction (Oops!). I had to remove 12(!) screws in order to rotate a panel around and screw them in again...again, would have been much faster with a drill. not a huge deal though...nice workout doing all that screwing. In the end everything really fit together quite nicely.I am actually very impressed with the quality of this, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy the next size up from the same brand when I am ready to graduate to the next size higher.

Great for step-ups, solid
Perfect starter box for step-ups for beginners learning plyometric skills with 3 heights and solid widths for box jumps too. Slip resistant and not too heavy either.

Built like a tank!
Excellent! Very well built, clearly CNC cut. Fits perfectly together. Use a drill or impact driver, unless you have forearms is steel. Only way to make it stronger is to glue it then screw it together. There is no clear coat on the finish. I may add that just as a layer of protection, but I’m anal like that😆
