Very good mouthguards for grappling sports however I would avoid for boxing as it is very thin and the edges can keep cutting your mouth

Wish I had found this brand years ago I can’t believe a gum shield could be so thin and strong after years of my daughter refusing to wear one because the others were too thick even ones made by the dentist and she felt like she couldn’t breathe,drink or talk while playing rugby this is a game changer and she has worn this for her last 4 games no complaints and even got her friends to order them very lightweight easy to mould very comfortable but do make sure you research first as there are different ones and size's for different contact games or games like hockey

An excellent lightweight, unobtrusive mouthguard but unfortunately totally unsuitable for field hockey. I cracked anther players tooth in half today and he was wearing one of these (as was I). It was a real eye opener. I did a flick at the goal, pretty gentle & he caught the follow through of my stick right in the grille. Tooth snapped in half diagonally from top right to bottom left. As soon as I got home I binned mine. I expect these things are excellent for other sports. Just not field hockey hence the singe star.

Brilliant. Best mouth guard I've ever used. Took a few boil and bites to get it set perfect, but once it was moulded to my happy point, it fits better than any other guard I've ever had.

This is my second one, only because I lost the original! At 53 I've been studying karate and bjj since the 80s and after a lifetime of gumsheild wearing, certainly for me, this has been the most wearable. I have never liked gumsheilds and back in the day they just didn't sit right no matter how often I dunked them in boiling water and reshaped them. These sheilds are a different level...very light and after a the initial shaping and follow ups as time goes on, they remain super light, and almost undetectable when I'm training. Have used this gumsheild for about 5 years...awsome.

I have been using this mouthguard for about 7 years now. It broke yesterday. In my opinion 7 years is a great lifespan for a product like this. I’ve been using it exclusively for BJJ/Grappling. For me it’s a great alternative to the regular rubber mouth guards. The teeth are sufficiently protected, while the breathing isn’t hindered at all. The soft tissue isn’t protected, you can still bite your tongue, lips or cheeks. All in, it’s the greatest grappling-mouthguard for me and I’m buying a 2. one right now.
