This food is so fresh that my one of my cats thinks it’s alive! Let me explain. If I give her regular kibble, she just eats it. However, when I put this freeze dried food into her bowl, she picks out a piece and then bats it around for about five minutes before pouncing on it and eating it. I find a few random pieces when cleaning, but other than that, I find it amusing and I will continue to purchase this food so she can continue to practice her hunt. My other cat is lazy and just gobbles it down without hunting or killing it first. :-)

Really good product. Single ingredient dry treats . My cats love it . Its way healthier than alot of the processed cat treats out there.

A good food that is high in meat content and low in carbohydrates. My cat will eat them, more or less, and likes them much more than the soft variety. Still, he doesn't love them. You would think he'd be over the moon with food that contains more animal meat and less filler or additives. He's a great cat, but a bit of a pain.

Cats love them but the bag comes with have the contents pulverized into powder and unusable.

My boys crave kibble, but we are a wet food household, so I was excited to find this version of freeze-dried raw. They love their crunchies which they get as a pre-bedtime snack.

The quality of this freeze-dried food has plummeted, and it is honestly dangerous for pets.1st Purchase: Everything was great. The freeze-dried pieces were dry, perfectly crispy, and my cat liked them.2nd Purchase: I noticed a huge amount of clumping inside the bag. Unlike the first bag, the surface of the food felt damp and soft rather than crispy. I didn't think much of it at first, but after eating it, my cat got severe diarrhea and started passing bloody stools. It took me forever to find the root cause, but as soon as I stopped feeding them this food, my cat recovered.3rd Purchase: I foolishly assumed the second bag was just a rare bad batch, so I ordered again. To my shock, the third bag was exactly the same—massive clumping, damp to the touch, and completely lost its crispiness. I tried feeding it to my cat, and they immediately got diarrhea again. This completely confirms the food is the problem.To make matters worse, their customer service is an absolute joke:You cannot request a simple refund. They force you to go through Customer Support to explain the whole situation first.I tried calling the company multiple times. Nobody ever answers, and they never return my phone calls.The trust is completely gone. Two consecutive bags with the exact same clumping, damp texture, and illness issues prove this is a widespread quality control failure, not an isolated incident. My cat suffered, and I wasted my money. Avoid this product at all costs!

Vital essential always does the job, we use it when my pets traveling so they don’t poop that much it says it cleans their teeth, but I don’t know if it’s working or not
