This has a good flavor and an interesting texture. It also is great as an ingredient in Hot and Sour Soup. Will buy again.

I was making a traditional hot and sour soup and it called for a spicy tofu so I purchased this product. The package contains numerous small packets which I liked because not everyone in my cooking group wanted to use it. I do think this is an acquired taste for most Americans but in the soup with many other ingredients it was perfect and added an extra layer of umami and spiciness that the soups made without it did not have.

Really good! I took a bag for a ten day backpacking trip and it was the snack to look forward to eat! Spicy, savory, umami, everything you need!

This has nothing to do with the seller. This arrived in a timely manner and was packaged appropriately. However, this was disgusting!!! YUK, YUK, YUK!!! I have nothing to compare it to since I've never had it before. I ordered it to put in hot and sour soup as per a recipe. The recipe was amazing, but after tasting this I wasn't about to put it in the soup. I just tossed the whole package out. I did not attempt to return the tofu as this was on me.

Oily, proteiny, spicy, satisfying.

Good tasting, but with a very spicy aftertaste.

Flavor is really good but they advertised it being chewy. It’s not chewy at all. It’s like biting into soft cold chicken. Not completely unpleasant. But I was specifically looking for something chewy and I’m a bit put off by its texture. Too much like meat for me. I’m going to see about maybe adding it to some onigiri to help.

Reminds me of cat food.
