I would have given this 5 stars, but sadly it was not right for the person it was intended for.As a review, it is of a solid build and very good quality. Much better than the half moon type seats which are difficult to use if space or mobility is limited.This device is perfect for individuals who are able to adjust the way that they are sitting, ie transfer their weight to one side enough to allow the seat to be inserted underneath them properly. It is not really possible to position it correctly and easily without.The mechanics work very well and it is easy to use. All in all it is a great solution to transfer someone and also take them to the WC. It is sensible to do your measurements to ensure that the legs fit around your toilet basin, seat etc. Only other point to note is that sensitive individuals might find the seat a little uncomfortable, but it needs to be to carry the weight and is for transfer only so does the job.This is not sold directly from Amazon, but from the marketplace, but do not let that put you off, it is good value and the customer service I have received has been prompt and accommodating.All in all I would recommend this if you are look for an affordable, safe way to transfer individuals and take them to the WC or shower.A nice company and a solid product
